In the ad, Cloris appears in a gown made entirely of leafy greens and red cabbage with the slogan “Let Vegetarianism Grow on You.” According to PETA, Leachman is a vibrant example of how vegetarians age gracefully – as evidenced by her impressive run on “Dancing with the Stars.” She became a vegetarian nearly 50 years ago for her health and said, “I felt a million times better, and I’ve never had a bite of meat ever since then.” Los Angeles, CA. 3/30/09.
