Nick Cannon’s ‘Mariah’ Tattoo [PHOTO]

Monday, March 30th, 2009

nick-cannon-tattoo

Newlyweds Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey celebrated Mariah’s 39th birthday in Barbados this weekend.

Mariah frolicked the beaches in a leopard-spotted, tiny bikini while hubby, Nick, showed the world his new tattoo.

The ginormous tat, “MARIAH,” sprawled across his shoulders is probably meant to be a display of his affections for his new wife. But you know what they say, never get a lovers name tattooed on you, because it jinxes the relationship!

Sad thing is, the tattoo isn’t even a good one. It would have been better had it have said, “Mariah’s Bitch!”

Did Pamela Anderson Get Plastic Surgery?

Monday, March 30th, 2009

mx0183352

…or was it simply make-up tricks that made the 41-year-old look so fresh?

That’s the question of the day.

Usually, when we see Pamela Anderson she has a crap-load of makeup on, as seen here, here and here.

This time, at Richie Rich’s fashion show, we see the softer, gentler side of Pammy. She’s tamed down the hair and makeup.  Now she just needs to work on getting a classy wardrobe.

A definite improvement nevertheless!

Cloris Leachman for PETA [PHOTO]

Monday, March 30th, 2009

mx0183936

Cloris Leachman, 82, revealed her new pro-vegetarian PETA ad in New York’s Times Square.

In the ad, Cloris appears in a gown made entirely of leafy greens and red cabbage with the slogan, “Let Vegetarianism Grow on You.”

According to PETA, Leachman is a vibrant example of how vegetarians age gracefully, evidenced by her impressive run on “Dancing with the Stars.”

She became a vegetarian nearly 50 years ago for her health and said, “I felt a million times better, and I’ve never had a bite of meat ever since then.”

Gisele Does Vanity Fair

Monday, March 30th, 2009

vanity-fair-gisele

It’s all about Gisele Bundchen in the latest issue of Vanity Fair, with a lengthy interview, steamy pics and, of course, a cover.

At one point in the interview, Gisele opens up about her relationship with, and marriage to, Tom Brady. She discussed the drama they endured at the beginning of the union after Tom’s former girlfriend Bridget Moynahan announced she was pregnant.

“It was definitely a surprise for both of us,” Gisele acknowledges with a rueful smile. ” In the beginning you’re living this romantic fantasy; you’re thinking, This can’t be true, it’s so good! And then, Whoops—wake-up call!” She rolls her eyes. “We were dating two and a half months when he found out, and it was a very challenging situation. Obviously, in the beginning, it’s not the ideal thing.”

Moynahan’s pregnancy made Gisele wonder whether she should encourage Brady to re-unite with his former girlfriend. “You question at times—‘Should I stay here? Maybe you should work this out,’” she admits. “But when people break up, it’s for a reason.”

In retrospect, she believes that dealing with the challenge only strengthened her commitment to Brady. “I think it was a blessing, because otherwise I don’t think I would have known what he was made of, and he wouldn’t have known what I was made of,” she says. “I wouldn’t have seen the integrity in him—the way he was a good person through all the times. I was like, You have the heart in a good place! It made me feel more in love with him; it made me realize who he was. Our relationship has become so much stronger, and I think I wouldn’t be as certain as I am today if it weren’t for that.”

Say what you will about Gisele, but one thing is for sure, she has class. A rarity in Hollywood!

Nick Nolte in Drag

Monday, March 30th, 2009

nick-nolte-lookalike

Ok, so it’s not actually Nick Nolte, but damn, this guy sure resembles him!

He’s like Nick Nolte and Britney Spears’ acid trip love child!

TMZ has spotted him before, out and about on a bicycle, wearing the same mini-skirt and hot pink halter top.

Apparently the latest photo (top) shows him hanging around outside of the dance studio where Olympian Shawn Johnson practices for ‘Dancing with the Stars’. That girl sure knows how to attract them!

Dina Lohan Bought Lindsay Lohan in the Baby Black Market!

Monday, March 30th, 2009

lohan-baby

It’s been awhile since I have gotten a truly WTF e-mail, but lo and behold, two popped into my inbox recently. I have to admit, they were rather entertaining!

Some freak sent me a couple of e-mails claiming that Lindsay Lohan is his granddaughter, and was born to a 13-year-old mother. (He later says she was fourteen, but who’s counting?) He says his daughter was forced to have a child who was then sold to the Lohan family.

Cray-zay!

Here’s Email #1, which appears to have been originally written to Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger:

Re: Ms. Lindsay Lohan

Dear Governor Schwarzenegger:

Please Sir, I need your help. My thirteen year old daughter was forced to have a child, to be sold to the Lohans in 1986. I had no knowledge of this at the time, I had noticed how very much Lindsay looked like her, when the parent trap came out, but I did not find out for sure, from my daughter, that she was her Mother until last Nov. 08! We had been separated for the last eighteen years, just found her last year with people search. I am a Protestant German from PA, her Mother is Irish Catholic, my child was raised by her, the IRA threaten to kill me, in 1974, if I did not allow the new husband to adopt Cindy. I have informed the New York State Attorney Generals office, I think they have put a wire tap on Cindy’s phone, She is too terrified to talk to law enforcement about this matter, however. Cindy and her daughter, Lindsay Lohan, are innocent victims, and need to be protected from harm. I have sent enclosed letter with photo to my grandchild, as you know however, it can be very difficult to contact someone as famous as Her. Any help you can give in this endeavor will be greatly appreciated, my only wish is to see no harm comes to my daughter or my grandchild. God Bless you Sir!

Thank you,

Edward Williams

Wow, huh? Well, it doesn’t end there, there’s another one and it’s even crazier. It’s a little longer, so if you want to read it, continue after the cut.

Valtrex Loves Paris Hilton

Monday, March 30th, 2009

mx0183666

The drug company who manufactures Valtrex must love Paris Hilton.

tmz-dougThe heiress is single-handedly keeping them in business!

New boyfriend Doug Reinhardt was spotted this weekend rockin’ a fresh cold sore on his lip.

Reinhardt’s camp says it’s simply a cut lip, stemming from the Miami bar fight last weekend, but I’m not buying it. If it was so, it would be a scab by now, right?

Anyhow, the thing probably erupted late last week and they made up the whole story about the fight just to cover for the herpes lip.

I’m just sayin’…

Spicy Makes the NY Times

Monday, March 30th, 2009

So if you follow me on Twitter you probably already know that Ms. Spicy was featured in an article in the NY Times this past weekend.

Ok, so I wasn’t actually in the article, but rather included in a graph, complete with photo, among a myriad of celebrities who ‘Twitter’.

There are a few of us on the chart – like 3 – who aren’t actual celebrities, so I am pretty damn thrilled to have made the list.

Here’s a cropped version of the chart. It’s a little blurry, so check out the full Who’s Who of Celebritites on Twitter chart here.

It’s quite interesting actually.

And the original article:

The Celebrity Twitter Ecosystem

[Link]

By JOHN METCALFE, NY Times
Published: March 27, 2009

HONESTLY, does anyone care that Martha Stewart has a blog supposedly written by her French bulldogs, Francesca and Sharkey?

Snoop Dogg might, perhaps, because Ms. Stewart recently sent him a Twitter message urging him to visit “The Daily Wag.” “Yo Snoop,” she wrote, “check out MY doggies’ new doggie blog.”

Tha Doggfather received this dubious shout-out because Ms. Stewart follows him on Twitter — “following” being Twitterspeak for signing up to get someone’s musings delivered directly to your cellphone or computer. She is also following P. Diddy, Rachel Maddow and Jimmy Fallon and, in turn, is followed by Michael Phelps, Jane Fonda and nearly 200,000 other people; they were all alerted on March 4, for instance, when she had lunch with Ludacris, whom she found “just charming” and who “loved lunch — esp. choc cake.”

That Ms. Stewart recently broke bread with the artist behind “Pimpin’ All Over the World” is just one of the many weird bits of trivia that can be gleaned about famous people on Twitter. There are at least a hundred well-known actors, singers, business magnates, politicians and writers using the service, and their chitchat — most of it authentically written by the stars themselves, according to interviews with them or their publicists — is available for anybody to see. (Not to obsess too much over Martha, but just the other day she welcomed Emeril Lagasse to Twitter, sending him a note that said, “i am still loving the etouffee you made yesterday.” O.K., yes, she did buy up most of his franchise last year, but there you go.)

What is the sound of celebrities tweeting? Well, it might be Trent Reznor of Nine Inch Nails notifying Dave Navarro, a musical collaborator who now plays for Jane’s Addiction, that he’s “hanging on the bus.” Or maybe it’s Ashton Kutcher and John Mayer comparing notes on being 31 years old (from John to Ashton: “Let’s open a hip new restaurant together. ‘31 club.’ Where it’s always standing room only. It will fail but we will have had fun.”).

Most celebrities let anybody follow them on Twitter, but are pickier about whom they follow themselves. Mr. Kutcher, for instance, in addition to following his wife (Demi Moore) and a stepdaughter (Rumer Willis), follows a mix of boldface names from different walks of life, including Evan Williams (a Twitter founder), Soleil Moon Frye (remember “Punky Brewster”?), Maria Shriver and Ellen DeGeneres. (The latter two are not shown on the already-too-crowded chart below.)

It seems that — just like the rest of us — celebrities enjoy hearing about other celebrities, and Twitter lets them participate in a giant cross-disciplinary mash-up of a conversation.

To the delight of many, some celebrities expose themselves on Twitter in a way you won’t see in Entertainment Weekly. “I love it when they don’t talk with their publicists before posting things,” said Mario Lavandeira, who is better known as the gossipmonger Perez Hilton, “like Solange Knowles talking about how she was taking a lot of Nyquil and then ended up passing out at the airport.” (Erykah Badu and Q-Tip were among 23,000 people who received Ms. Knowles’s increasingly distressed alerts on Feb. 17, which culminated a day later with the tweet: “Woaah …How’d I end up in the hospital?”)

The accompanying chart shows a small and idiosyncratic sample of the celebrities who follow one another on Twitter. It represents a snapshot taken from March 18, and should be read with the caveat that allegiances can change quickly on Twitter (followers can drop follow-ees with a simple keystroke, and vice versa). Except for a few obvious fakes (Vladimir Putin), these accounts are all authentic, even if they might not seem like it.

By the way, are you following me on Twitter? I post links as stories go live on the Smack, chat and sometimes do a little drunk Tweeting. You just never know what you’re going to get!
