Bruce Springsteen is being named in divorce papers filed by Arthur Kelly of Red Bank, NJ.
Kelly is claiming that Bruce and his now estranged wife, Ann Kelly, have hooked up several times and in several places. He is seeking joint custody of the couple’s daughters, 13 and 10.
Bruce is denying the allegations but doesn’t exactly have a squeaky clean past when it comes ot being monogamous.
Three years ago rumors spread that Bruce and wife Patti Scialfa were going to split because Bruce had an affair with a 9/11 widow he met at a fundraiser. But don’t feel so sorry for Patti. Bruce left his first wife for her.
Still, despite his past, Bruce is doing some rumor control and probably hoping to save his marriage. He posted the following statement on his site denying the allegations:
“I hesitate to use this website for anything personal believing it should remain a place where fans of my music can come free of the distractions that occasionally arise with the rest of my job. However, due to the unfounded and ugly rumors that have appeared in the papers over the last few days, I felt they shouldn’t pass without comment. Patti and I have been together for 18 years — the best 18 years of my life. We have built a beautiful family we love and want to protect and our commitment to one another remains as strong as the day we were married.”
You know what they say, if he’ll leave her for you, he’ll eventually leave you for the next one!

Actually nowhere in Bruce’s statement does he deny the allegations.
