Ok, I have been skirting around this topic, but figure it’s about time I touched on it.
I am sure you have heard the whole controversial story about Miss California, Carrie Prejean, telling the group of judges that she does not support gay marriage. Of course the question was asked by my archenemy, (Baby Huey blogger), who, for some reason was invited to help judge the competition. Really, what does that gnarly suck up know about beauty? Bitch, please.
And then to top it off, Baby Huey slammed the competition afterwards calling it the worst pageant ever AND he called Carrie Prejean a “dumb bitch”. See, this is why I can’t stand him. He gets free tickets to cool events, he is invited to movie premieres, he gets flown around the world, and as he is taking his tickets in his left hand, his right hand is twittering or blogging about what a f**knut the person is who is giving them to him.
But I digress..
At the competition, Baby Huey blogger asked Carrie if she supports gay marriage. She then honestly told the judges (and the world) that she is anti-gay marriage. She said, “Well I think its great that Americans are able to choose one or the other. We live in a land where you can choose same-sex marriage or opposite marriage. And you know what, in my country, in my family, I think that I believe that a marriage should be between a man and a woman. No offense to anybody out there but that’s how I was raised and that’s how I think it should be between a man and a woman. Thank you very much.”
Let’s face it folks, she had every right to answer the question the way she did. I don’t think she meant any disrespect, that is just her opinion, and yes, she is entitled to it. Now don’t get me wrong here, I am not siding with her, hell, I am one of the biggest fag hags this side of the Mississippi, I love my gays! But I also think people should be allowed to have their opinions (not HATE!) and be able to express them accordingly.
Since the competition, Carrie says her phone is ringing off the hook. She spoke with Fox News about the ordeal and says she has no regrets in her decision to speak out for what she believes in.
“I have no regrets about answering honestly. He asked me for my opinion and I gave it to him. I have nothing against gay people and I didn’t mean to offend anyone in my answer.”
So what is your opinion here? Was she wrong to be honest about it? Should she have lied instead? Or was she brave for sticking to her guns and her beliefs?
[FOX]

She shouldn’t be punished for her opinion because thats all it is, an opinion.
I am not usually a Perez fan however, the blog he posted about her does make sense. She should have thought the question through a little more before she blurted out her no offense answer.
I don’t agree with her answer but I also don’t agree with this attack mode her answer has received.
Why should she have thought about it more though? She answered truthfully, something A LOT of those women wouldn’t have done just to please the judges and gain a crown.
I did not watch the pageant, but in the aftermath of this whole thing clearly Hilton was putting himself above what he was there to judge. I felt like the poor girl was blindsided because there is no right answer to that question. If you say you are for it people will boo, if you say you are against it people will boo. Hilton went on and on about how she was booed…it is a flatout lie…the crowd clearly was liking what she was saying. He got what he wanted though, he overshadowed the event, brought attention to himself, and will be in the media for the next few weeks. It’s sad that the girl may have won if not for him and his sneak attack.
I think she has guts for honestly stating her opinion and even giving a little background as to why. She clearly meant no disrespect and kept the opinion as just that, her own opinion. Right or wrong, we all have them!
I think PH CLEARLY was going for the provocative question that would ensure he was kept in the spotlight for a ridiculous amount of time. Now he’s being quoted left and right, calling her a dumb bitch. He’s such an effing moron that he can’t even be quoted with something remotely intelligent to justify the cause or feelings.
While people have differing opinions, and this is a hot subject, especially in California, Carrie did not spout off on gays in anyway or scream obscenities at her.
BRAVO for her!! I am so proud of that young lady for speaking her beliefs. They asked the question and she gave them an answer. See, here is the thing about “free speech”. “Free Speech” is only good……when everyone agrees with what you said. YAY!! for staying true to herself, despite what the special interest groups think. I am a fan!
I may not agree with her, but she’s just stating her opinion which she can rightfully so. Since the last election, people have been horrible with others who don’t go along with their beliefs. I have friends who are staunch republicans and I don’t agree with them all the time, but I welcome a difference of opinion. I don’t tell them that they are wrong, they don’t tell me I’m wrong, we just accept each other as we are. It’s too bad some people just can’t do that.
He asked her what she thought, this is America people and she has a right to answer a question without lying just to get a cheezy crown from some ahole like Peraz Hilton of all people. You can bet he knew he had a 50/50, or better, chance of causing some angst with that question. And no doubt he was way more excited then he has ever been around any woman when he got to ask Miss California of all people. Now for my questions to the Miss America pageant.. how hard up is the Miss America pageant to have Peraz Hilton as a judge? Also, how many young woman do you think will enter the pageant next year knowing some schmuck like Peraz might get a chance to rip them a new one. And to the country of California, you do still have schools, right?
When HOMO-sex-uals determine who wins a Miss USA
contest something smells kinda Sodomy and reprobate
is his name!
We’re not going to always agree with things we see on TV or read about online (baby huey blogger), but they are all protected by the 1st amendment. The opinion Carrie gave was just how she felt about the issue, even though we can disagree, we can disagree agreeably.
That fat, self-absorbed idiot KNEW that this would come down the way it did. If I hear or read ONE MORE thing about Perez Hilton and his self-promotion, I’m seriously going to vomit. I had to block his ass on Twitter. I just couldn’t take it anymore. Bleh!
I believe she was totally right in giving her opinion. Opinions are like assholes and everyone has one. This country is supposed to have the right of free speech and she answered with her honest opinion.I have a gay sister whom I love dearly but I myself believe that homosexuality is a sin.I was brought up though to never judge anyone for he way they choose to live their lives and I don’t judge, but I am entitled to my own feelings on any topic!
She can totally have an opinion but bitch couldn’t even articulate her beliefs without sounding an effing backwoods bumpkin and she totally contradicted herself by saying Americans can choose, because DUH BITCH! They can’t.
I think California should be ashamed to have a closeminded person like her to represent them.
I think Perez has every right to be pissed. But I do agree that he is a little insane for getting fed then biting the hands that feed him. He needs to stop that.
When HOMO-sex-uals and PFLAG sympathizers determine who wins a Miss USA contest something smells kind of brimstone and Sodomy and bestial reprobate is their name!
I feel Miss California’s answer to the question was a good straight forward answer. I was raised just like her, she couldn’t answer that qustion any better. ONE MAN, ONE WOMAN! That’s the way it was in the beginning, and that’s the way it should be now.
Perez Hilton makes a living off of destroying other people. He’s a social parasite. For him, maligning Miss California is simply business as usual.
Is ph secretly sucking d trumps co**?? I mean shows up on celeb apprintence, and then as a judge for miss america?? What does ph even know about women to help decide which one should represent our country!? Not to mention the woman that millions of little girls, teenagers, and young women look up to! As a mom of an 8 year old girl, I can only hope she would look up to someone that stated her opinion, respectfuly and non offensive, no matter how popular or not popular it is. Miss california stood up for her beliefs. Period. Isn’t that what we want for our kids? Our country? Our world? Our future? It was a sad day for humanity when a honest answer based on a personal belief/opinion in a dishonest world has become so newsworthy! Her point was how great to be an american, u have the choice, u may have to travel farther to exercise your choice for gay marriage, but how great that you have that choice!! I hope one day in my daughters lifetime that attention whores like, ph, will have the good sense to make the CHOICE to shut the f*** up! As far as trump goes, I was a fan untill the brutal, unfair firing of khloe k! Shame on you trump! Shame on u p hilton! I speak my mind because as an American, I have the freedom and the CHOICE to do so!
As I think about what I just posted, I must add, ph has just as much right to voice his opinions, I just wish he would choose to do it more respectfully, and not in such a self serving way. If he’s not careful, all he will have left is self serving himself!!
