Lindsay Lohan opens up about her recent breakup with Samantha Ronson in an appearance on today’s Ellen Degeneres show.
Lindsay, 22, tells Ellen that the split between the two has been very trying for her. She says the shock of it all still hasn’t quite settled in. She claims Samantha decided “out of nowhere” that the relationship was over, and instead of telling Lindsay, she simply avoided her for a week. Lohan says, “When you don’t know you’re breaking up. [It's] really weird.”
She denies that infidelity was the cause of the breakup and is still holding out hope that she and Ronson may reunite.
“I really care about Samantha and we’ll see what happens. Maybe when we’re fully in the right place. And I love her.”
But for right now, the actress says that she is focusing on her career. “I feel like I want to get my career back in shape.”
“You know when people are together so much it gets really difficult and you forget who you are because you’re more concerned about being with the other person. I think it’s been really good for me. I thought it would be so much harder and it hasn’t been. My sister’s been here with me.”
Do you think Sam and Lindsay will get back together eventually? I am guessing not a chance in hell! Sam definitely seems WAY over Lindsay and I think she has talked enough smack about her to her family that she might look like a fool if she does take her back. Your thoughts?

I think Samantha is trash, she looks like trash and she acts like trash…She’s 31 years old and shes acting as if she’s younger than Lindsay. If you want something to be over then you need to have courage and talk to her. Tell her reasons or don’t but at least let someone know what’s going on instead of talking smack and avoiding the situation. That is classic high school behavior. Grow up Samantha! Lindsay deserves better anyway, even if she doesn’t realize it right now. She will someday. Hang in there, Lindsay.
