Scottish artist Peter Howson’s portrait of pop star Madonna and with husband Guy Ritchie is being sold by a private collector.
The piece isn’t very flattering and Madge and Guy were said to be livid when it was unveiled in 2007.
The artwork is set to fetch $35,000 when it goes under the hammer at McTear’s auction house in Glasgow on Saturday, May 30.

She must have loved seeing this depiction of her, with all the recent surgeries (gone wrong) and extreme dieting, working out for hours on end all for nothing if you think about it. I actually like the painting though. She never should have gotten that fishhook jaw work done though it’s way to tight. The material girl is not aging well at all.

The question is whether the artist meant the painting to be a big joke at Madonna’s expense, or if he was surprised at her reaction to his masterpiece.
