Susan Boyle has been hospitalized for exhaustion after taking second place on “Britain’s Got Talent.”
Boyle was acting strangely at her London hotel after the show’s finale Saturday night. Police were called and Boyle agreed to be taken to a hospital to be checked out.
Reports are suggesting the Scottish singer suffered an emotional breakdown after mounting pressure and sudden fame overwhelmed the frumpy 48-year-old.
A source at the hotel said: “When the paramedics and police arrived she agreed to go voluntarily. She didn’t make a fuss. The paramedics calmly took her out through the main lobby and into the waiting ambulance. It was all done very calmly. They didn’t want to stress or upset her. She didn’t look well, she looked lost, not all there.”
The poor woman. Hopefully she will get some much needed rest after the whirlwind of craziness that has consumed her life recently.

Poor woman, one can understand the pression she had.
The West (Brit?) press is so strange too : if Susan got angry (if that was true) that’s coarse but normal, how could it be said “act strangely” ?
Nothing strange. As a medical doctor I know strange behavior includes self talking, halucinating, paranoia, delusions etc. but nothing like these exists here.
So the press (including this blog) shoud be called strange too, with bad intentions, or insulting (name calling).
If you look at Susan’s face in the finals you could see she’s tired, maybe sleepy (where’s the photo she yawns taken from?)., and maybe harassed expressly by the paparazzi’s, to get a comotion and a top headline, besides making bad news for her to drop her votes down. All this I suspect was orchestrated beforehand
And why did many voters get the fault note, or no conection (blocked?),when they wanted to vote for her at the Finals? See ITV BGT comments..
I do hope Ms. Boyle feels better soon. She needs to get cracking on her new CD.
