A Belgian teenager, Kimberley Vlaminck, 18, had 56 stars tattooed on her face and is now suing the tattoo artist saying she only asked for three.
Vlaminck is claiming that she fell asleep while getting the tattoos, and when she awoke, lo and behold, her face has been inked. Her forehead, cheek, nose and jawline, covered with dozens stars.
She says the Romanian tattooist, Rouslan Toumaniantz, may have misunderstood her French and English, however, he is denying those claims.
He told the media:
“She was awake and looked into the mirror several times as the procedure was taking place. The trouble all started when she went home and her father and boyfriend threw a fit. They are saying things now like I doped her or hypnotized her. What rubbish! She asked for 56 stars and that’s what she got.”
Kimberly is suing for nearly $14,000, enough to remove the tattoos, but she would still be left with scars. She complained, “It is terrible for me. I cannot go out on to the street, I am so embarrassed. I just look horrible.”
Please tell me how someone could possibly fall asleep while getting half their face tattooed? The tattoo artist is right. It’s rubbish.

i did fall asleep gettting my shoulder tattooed but no way in hell would someone sleep thru nose and face – come on – her parents freaked and now she’s trying to get out of it. She’s full of it. First tattoo and she slept – BS
NO WAY! She is not telling the truth. Anyone who has ever gotten a tattoo does not fall asleep. Who falls asleep with needles going in and out and in and out. What a crock. The tattoo owner should counter sue.
Not that you would fall asleep getting a tattoo on your face, especially around the temple and nose where its very sensitive. Most tattoo artists don’t allow you to fall asleep while their doing the process. That right there is enough to have her thrown out of court, but to top it off usually the artist shows you what they will be doing before they start inking you. She just needs to face that she made a dumb @$$ decision to tattoo her face and move on with the consequences.
There is no way she fell asleep. I have 3 tattoos and i never fell asleep. it would hurt to much especially on the bones like jaw line forhead and cheek bone. She got in trouble at home so now she wants to put the blame on someone else to keep herself out of trouble.

As a mother (of a tattoo artist) and as a person who has been tattooed – this little girl is delusional and so are her parents if they believe her crock!!
There is no way that girl didn’t know what she was getting prior to being inked.I took my own son at 16 to get a tat I also have one myself and the tattoo artist always put a image on the area prior to doing it to make sure you like it or its in the right area. And fall asleep, give me a break. She went home and her parents sh.t hit the fan and jumped her. she looked in the mirror and saw what a freak she really looked like than decided she better do something and made up the story to make mommy and daddy get off her back.Grow up girl. You though you were old enough to get a tat now live with the results. Hopefully the rest of you 18 year olds will think twice before getting ink where you can’t cover it up.
She lying, period and bad at that. Hands, chest near breast bone, feet, face and ribs all hurt like #ell unless your drugged out of your ever lovin mind. And the other areas do not tickle when done either. And that bit about endorphins did not work for me when I got my foot tattooed, but then it only took five minutes. I had a good artist, but it still hurt like #ell.

If I did happen too, it wouldn’t be while I was having my face inked I can tell ya that much! Well…this is why you better be damn certain of what you want before you get it!
The only way this tattoo artist is liable is if he knew she was drunk out of her mind or on drugs. You can not fall asleep during the process. I have tatoos and never once did the pain stop enough for me to sleep, especially on the foot. My advise, buy really good professional cover up and grow up.
She should have said that she passed out and that may have made matters better for her….she might actually have had a chance if she said that…other than that she is lying….she got home and crap hit the fan now she needs a way out of it, and that is the only thing that she came up with.

Yeah, I like to see her PROVE she was hypnotized. For one, my boyfriend is a hypnotist. If anyone knows anything about hypnotism, a hypnotist CAN NOT make you do anything you don’t want to do. You are fully aware of your surroundings when your under.
As for being doped, take a piss test and PROVE you were doped at that moment. If you were, it was probably voluntary and now you’re suffering for your stupid decisions and blaming it on some artist who was just doing his job.

Drinking and inking is always a bad idea. I saw a little more on this story – it appears when she returned home her father threw her out of the house for being a complete idiot, that’s when the story came about that she only wanted three stars and promptly fell asleep, awaking to 56 stars.
No judge is going to believe this story because an electric needle running at a high speed was going into her skin, and over bone. That is a painful experience and nobody could sleep through it. She lied not to be thrown out in the streets and of course it’s going to be hard for her to find a job, so she will continue to lie and her father will have to pay for the tattoo removal.

well contary to most of the blogs, i think she looks amazing, very sexy and sassy now, as her belt depicts. Yeaa I definiatley call bullshit on that, fell asleep my ass. I only have 1 tat but the farthest thing from my mind while getting it done was sleep. Just another typical stupid teenage bitch that didn’t think before she did something thats all and then tries to pawn the consequences off on someone else, apparently she thinks shes Kat Von D or something.
