Any Given Sunday, by itself, pretty much sucked. I just thought that she was good in it. And…it was pre-’mouth-eating-face’ phase when she still weighed more than 100 lbs. She was really far more attractive earlier in her career and I remember being surprised at how thin she was in ‘Mary’. Even then, however, she looked healthy. (Remember her dance scene in The Mask?)

Now…well, I would have to agree with you.

Maybe she is a tremendous actress… i wouldn’t know… anytime I see her now, I can’t stop thinking, “Damn… her mouth is trying to eat the rest of her face.”

It just keeps getting bigger… and expanding… and getting larger… it’s like The Blob… but with breasts… and a pretty fine ass… so really, she’s nothing like The Blob whatsoever… nevermind.

Let’s not forget her run of sucky crapfests though, like… oh, just about everything she’s done. I’ll give you that there are a few hidden gems in there, but Any Given Sunday…? Come on, man… have some respect for yourself and your eyes and what they’re watching.

She’s a much better actress than she receives credit for being. She just picks crappy projects and thus all anyone remembers is the crap. Folks tend to forget about how charming she was in The Mask (although, still a sucky movie) they forget her role in Being John Malkovich, she was perfectly cast for Something About Mary, and I thought she did a great job in In Her Shoes and in Any Given Sunday.

And…who could ever deign to criticize her perfection in the otherwise run-of-the-mill rom-com My Best Friend’s Wedding?
