Jon & Kate took to the TLC airwaves on Monday to finally make their major announcement – they are getting a divorce. The couple filed the proper paperwork with the state of Pennsylvania in order to get the ball rolling on these proceedings.

So that was it…? That was their HUGE announcement…? Something everyone already knew for weeks in advance, as they just waited for the inevitable to finally occur…? That’s not a major announcement. A major announcement is them seeking to get the marriage annuled and attempting to put all 8 kids back into Kate’s vagina, so they could pretend none of this ever happened. Now THAT’s what I call an announcement. I also call it groundbreaking medical science, but for now, we’ll just stick with announcement.
