Farrah Fawcett’s funeral is taking place at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Angels in L.A. today.
Her son Redmond, 24, will be allowed to attend thanks to a Superior Court judge allowing him to do so. He will be able to wear plain clothes, but will be escorted by sheriff’s deputies. He is currently serving time for drug related charges. Afterwards he will head back to the clink.
Farrah died last Thursday after a long battle with anal cancer. She was 62.
I wonder if Ryan will show up to the funeral all geeked out. This guy reminds me of Joe Jackson a little bit – just more subtle. Probably because he’s an actor. Didn’t he treat Farrah like hell and get her all into coke? Oh yeah, and his son Redmond might be serving time, but from what I remember Ryan was busted with a little crystal meth at the same time his son was.
Maybe after Ryan realized Farrah was terminal he felt bad for the way he had treated her his whole life. But then again, maybe he also saw it as an opportunity, an opportunity to finance HIS drug habit. I’m not sure which, but I don’t trust this guy.

Guess by y’all’s insensitive comments, you’ve never stood beside someone you knew would be leaving this earth .. soon. People live, make mistakes, and then they will pass on. I’m glad, for her sake, she had Ryan and Alana sticking with her to the very end. How OLD are you, anyway? DUH???
Farrah and Ryan had their ups and down like any couple do. However, I feel that he genuinely cared about her, and he was by her side ’til the end. Celebs face a lot of ridicule and scrutiny, so let’s give Farrah her peace at last, as the Angel she was and always will remain.
I can’t believe how insensitive people are to celebrites that have hardship. If you can’t speak positive about a person’s life or loved ones, please just don’t say anything. God bless you Farrah.
Christine, if you only knew sweetheart. I have been there before many times. And I have seen people get very, very greedy and conniving when people pass. It’s very unfortunate and terribly sad. I’m just stating the obvious. Ryan has a bad drug problem. If you don’t believe it, you’re in denial. People don’t just do meth “recreationally”.
You maybe right Spicy but now is not the time for mud-slinging. Where’s your level of respect? In this country we use to care about people. Denial or not. What would people say about you when you die. Save the mud for later now is the time to celebrate her life. God bless you Angel.
