Michael Jackson’s will is in the hands of attorney John Branca who will be filing it in court in the near future.
The Wall Street Journal is claiming that the will was constructed in 2002 and leaves the entire $1 billion estate to Jackson’s mother, Katherine Jackson, his children and various charities. No mention of his father, Joe Jackson, who recently made a cold and bizarre appearance at the BET Awards only days after his son’s death.
Michael has mentioned in the past that his father beat him as a child. There was also a lot of emotional abuse there as well. Michael was the one one that Joe liked to single out and cut down.
Too bad that MJ’s mother, Katherine is probably an abused woman as well. So even though the money is hers it will somehow end up in the hands of her controlling, heartless husband. What hell she must be going through.
Joe wears his heart on his face. He always has a scowl, sort of like the Grinch, but icier. They say the eyes are the windows to one’s soul and this is certainly the case with Joe Jackson.

It would be great, if after all is said and done and the estate is settled, that Katherine could take the money and leave Joe’s evil ass.
(So far he left his mom & charity NO CASH. Just custody of the kids. All assets got to the MJ Family Trust w/ 2 executioners) Quote People Mag:
Michael Jackson’s family is still reviewing the contents of his last will and testament, but PEOPLE.com can confirm details of the 2002 document:
The deceased pop star left all his assets to the Michael Jackson Family Trust and has named his mother Katherine, 79, as guardian of his children – Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and Blanket, 7. Attorney John Branca and John McClain, a music executive, are named as executors.
The will does not list any charities as beneficiaries, nor does it specifically exclude Joe Jackson, Michael’s dad, as had been rumored. “There are no numbers in the will,” says a source familiar with the document. “The assets are going into the family trust.”
For privacy reasons, the source cannot name the specific beneficiaries of the trust
I wonder why MJ didn’t take extra steps like park a portion of his assets into a trust while he is still living and put the mom and children as beneficiaries? That would solve a lot of problems and keep more of the money out of Joe’s pocket if what is said of Joe is true
