Kevin Jonas of the Jonas Brothers is engaged to his girlfriend of two years, Danielle Deleasa.
She excitedly accepted . . . over and over.
“She said yes, yes, yes like 500 times super fast in a row,” said Jonas, who met Danielle, a former hair stylist, in the Bahamas in 2007.
Jonas, 21, proposed Wednesday morning after flying in from Vancouver after a show. He says he was distracted at Tuesday night’s performance knowing that he was about to propose. Once he got to Jersey he showed up on her doorstep and popped the question.
When the couple met Danielle had no clue who the Jonas Brother were. (Do you believe that one?)
Kevin’s father, Kevin Sr. released a statement regarding his oldest son’s wedding plans: “Our hearts are filled with joy today and we are happy to share with you that our son Kevin has asked Danielle for her hand in marriage,. Her answer was yes, and it is such a blessing that she will be joining our family. Kevin and Danielle have not yet set a date. Family is very dear to us, and we hope we have raised Kevin to be a wonderful man and husband. Please join us in our family’s celebration and in congratulating Kevin and Danielle. Who cares???? So I’m guessing this means he will no longer be able to wear the purity ring huh? I really don’t get what the deal is with them… They all need haircuts and to buy clothes that fit them. I think it’s great that he found someone! And I’m surprised by how many ppl thought he was gay…. I don’t really understand the reason behind it. I think he just didn’t announce his dating someone like his brothers bc he was dating a real person and not some other “superstar”… Well I hope she can handle the life on the road!

I really dont like Danielle. haha. I hate to say it, noting that I am a Jonas fan, mostly of Kevin, but he is gay. He is either one; trying to keep his secret to himself only by marrying her, but he doesn’t really love her. Or twol; they both know that he is gay and she is helping him by marrying him to keep his secret that he is gay. If he ever reads this, which I highly doubt he will, I know most EVERY Jonas fan will accept him that he is gay. But by ruining it by marrying someone at a young age, is really stupid on his part. Because of him asking Danielle to marry him, some Jonas fans will be so mad, and upset, thay they will actually not be their fans anymore. Why get engaged when they are the most popular band in the US? That’s utterly stupid. haha. They will lose fans, money, popularity. I just think it was the wrong thing to do at this time.
