Another touching tribute to Michael Jackson, Usher singing, “Gone Too Soon”.
At first I thought, is Usher bringing on the fake tears? But later I found out that the two had been working together recently and were indeed good friends. Good to know. I didn’t think that seemed like Usher to grasp for attention like that, but I had to ask around (Twitter) before I knew the truth.
He’s an amazing live performer and did an amazing job with the song.

Even when you work together, you can still fake tears if that’s in you best interest at that point of time, it seemed fake to me. Also touching the coffin was too much, to me it felt really fake, I’m sorry Usher if I’m wrong! I do believe that your a big fan of MJ’s music, but that doesn’t make you a fan of the man himself and what he stood for. Love, M.
I don’t believe that Usher’s tears were sincere at all. He really milked it with the touching the coffin, the removal of the shades so we could all see how distressed he was and the choking back the tears which was in perfect synch with the song. Boy PLEASE, it wasn’t about YOU. Apart from that I thought the memorial was beautiful and appropriately done.
Usher SO milked it…I don’t doubt he was a fan…but it was all a bit too choreographed..seriously.

Secondly, he and michael were friends, they worked together and talked on more than one occasion.

Mariah said it was hard for her seeing his casket right in front of her.
I wish chris could have performed too, but I don’t know what happened with that.
