Feldman attended the Michael Jackson memorial Tuesday, dressed as the King of Pop. He wore a black fedora, shades and a regal jacket to the event, as his way of paying tribute to the late star.
Us magazine says that Feldman was teary-eyed at the event, and when he wiped his eyes underneath his glasses with a Kleenex, John Mayer gave him a weird look.
Feldman told the magazine that he has been in mourning since Jackson’s passing. “I’ve been crying a lot and I’m just drained. Michael changed the world and I think we should remember him for that.”
Soon after Jackson’s passing, Feldman took to his website to share his grief with fans. He wrote, “I am trembling and shaking at the moment and it is very hard to type. I am filled with tremendous sadness and remorse. All I choose to remember from this point is the good times we shared and what an inspiration he was to me and the rest of the world. Nobody will ever be able to do what Michael Jackson has done in this industry, and he was so close to doing it all again. I am truly, and deeply sorry for all of the heartbroken fans and supporters worldwide. I think I am still in shock. So I must end this now.”
As I pointed out last week and I’ll point it out again, Feldman wanted nothing to do with Jackson before his death. In fact, they hadn’t spoke for years and at one point Feldman publicly called Jackson a “joke”.
“The people that become the biggest jokes are people who do not change. They stay the way they were in the past. Look at Michael Jackson, he never evolved.” – Corey Feldman
So yeah. Corey’s hurting. Anyone got a tissue?
