Paris Jackson Exploited?

There seems to be some controversy surrounding Paris Katherine Jackson and her speech that ended her father’s memorial on Tuesday.

If you haven’t heard the buzz, people are saying that Paris was “exploited” by the Jackson family when she was allowed to speak to the crowd – and to the world – about her feelings for her dad, Michael Jackson.

I have to strongly disagree here. What, do people think that just because she is a kid she shouldn’t be allowed to share her grief? She just lost her father for crissakes. I’m sure nobody told her she had to do it. She looked as though it was something she wanted to do. I think she was mature enough to understand WHO her father was, and WHAT people made him out to be. She knew the difference, and she wanted us to know.

So my question to you is, do you think Paris Katherine Jackson was exploited by the Jackson’s?

    She was for sure.The first thing I thought when I saw it was she was getting pushed out there and they wanted her to say something so bad because they knew it would be shown for years and years and they were on stage.Anyone who thinks she wasnt I clueless.

    While I do think she was pushed to say it, no matter how she came up to speak it, she truly meant every word of it. She loved her father.

    Well, they did not push her brother Prince Michael out there to speak so it could be she had said she wanted to speak about her Father so the pushing we saw of her to the podium was actually them helping her to speak up so she would not back down and then regret not doing so later, I mean this was a one shot deal.. next time we hear from her will probably be after she turns eighteen, anything before would then make me wonder about them using the kids.. MJ would not want them on display.

    People who think that she was pushed into the stage to speak are stupid. It’s like saying your kids won’t break down and won’t say they love you so much when you pass away. Come on people, leave her alone, she just lost her Dad, the only parent she had since day one!

    Heck no! she was talking from her heart. She wanted to talk, i could tell. she wanted to let the world know that her daddy was just a normal guy and a great father. i think she is very brave. I love Prince Paris and Blanket so much. God Bless you.

    People will say anything to get attention. How can they accuse the Jackson family of exploiting the child like that. She wanted to speak and they let her.

    The rest of us were looking at this whole thing from a detached point of view. We needed Paris to show us that MJ was also a “daddy” “brother” and “son” to that family.

    I’d would also like to have a chance to speak at my dads funeral if i want to. weather I’m 11 years old or 50 years old.

    People need to get off their high horses and stop trying to impose their thoughts on what’s right or wrong on others.

    You know, I don’t think Paris was exploited. I think she’s going to be though. I think all of his kids will be, just as Mike and his 4 brothers were, and just as his two sisters were. Joe Jackson is a piece of shit for pushing the Jackson 3 thing and I won’t buy any of their work. They’re rich already, they don’t need my money, and neither does joe.
    As far as the rest of you, “as it so happens i can read lips” get a fucking life. Do you have nothing better to do than read lips on TV? Sad. I’m not a huge Michael Jackson fan, but I don’t believe for a minute he was anything more than a monumental performer, an icon, and a washed up phenomenon. His career was over, he hasn’t had a hit in the US in years. Leave him to rest in peace.
