Artie Lange was busted for suspicion of DUI Friday afternoon in New Jersey.
My guess is Artie is on another one of his infamous benders.
Lange was arrested around 3:00 PM EST in Toms River after he was involved in a car accident.
This guy is a walking dead man. Seriously, he has admitted to doing outrageous amounts of cocaine and drinking massive quantities of booze for years now. (Although recently he has claimed over and over that he is clean & sober..) He always drives, and yes, sometimes his stories of getting wasted are absolutely hysterical, but in reality, it’s not that funny.
It’s only funny until he kills someone – or himself.

Oh man that sucks. Am a huge stern fan and was really happy artie seemed to be getting his life back in order. what happen to helicopter mike? isn’t suppose to be watching him 24/7?

artie is an addict who craves drugs and alcohol at all times, the only way to kick drugs, is not the standard ” you have to want to change” thats bullshit the actual only way to kick is to run out of money or get arrested, so this talented guy, not a comic genius, but a quick wit, is getting 100k a night or some rediculous number to do his probaly stale lame standup, with that kind of money coming in, and the monkey firmly still on his back he will never get clean no matter how many cops he hires to watch him, i think he just likes the way it sounds to hire people to watch him. hopefully he gets arrested, and tested regularly and realizes that a positive puts him in jail, that or losing all your money is the only way out.
Throw him in your “Death Pool” along with Courtney Love, etc.
What i want to know is why he was driving a nissan sentra?! just kidding, this is very sad to hear. I think he’s great and hope he gets clean
I actually like Artie better when he’s been drinking a little. But getting behind the wheel when you’re fucked up is never cool. So honestly, not that bummed that he’s off the wagon, just hope that helicopter mike is there next time to take his keys away.
He’s the kind of asshole he gets behind the wheel and ends up killing someone while walking about without a scratch. I don’t care how much someone drinks or does drugs, but getting behind a wheel should never cross your mind. If you can’t afford cab fare or a bus ride, stay the fuck home.
Enough of the I’m full of myself Artie. I don’t wish bad on him but I’m done with it. The arrogant, insulting manner is enough already. He has used the show to get rich beyond his wildest dreams. Without the show, he would be a dead struggling half ass comedian/actor. I love the show, but find myself tuning out more & more. See ya Artie….Move on Howard, it’s time.
