Elizabeth Taylor has been hospitalized with what sources are calling a broken heart.
The New York Post is reporting that Liz, 77, a longtime, devout friend of Michael Jackson’s, hasn’t been dealing very well with the death of her good friend.
Apparently at the time of Jackson’s death Liz was preparing to go to London where she was going to enjoy herself and catch her friend’s first performance. She was in her usual wheelchair, accompanied by her dog(s) and nurses when she heard the devastating news of Michael’s death.
She did not take the news lightly. She screamed out in grief. Poor Liz, she has lost many people in her life, but she and Michael had a bond that lasted many, many years. And like Jackson, she has also struggled with drug problems. I recall the gossip rags of the early 80s constantly targeting her for being drunk or stuffed on pills. Every week it was Liz who was on the cover. My grandma ordered every single gossip rag there was back then. Where do you think my fascination with celebrities began?
We also hearing that the Jackson clan refused to invite Taylor to the private memorial service because she was Jackson’s friend – “not theirs.”
Liz is reportedly fatigued, depressed and has been constantly crying, missing her friend.

This so so sad. The Jackson’s should of invited her to the private memorial whether she was a friend of theirs or not because of how close she was with Michael.
She said herself she had no intention of going to the funeral on her twitter account, she isn’t dying of a broken heart, she’s a tough old gal and was she shocked when she was told – of course she was he died suddenly without warning. Is she in poor health and has been in poor health for years, yes – she’s been in an out of the hospital for years. I’m shocked she didn’t die years ago.
As people age they suffer losses, and she’s suffered more than her fair share, but many of her friends, family and contemporaries have already passed away, and she’s no delicate hot house flower. If she goes it’s not going to have one thing to do with the passing of MJ.
Doesn’t matter her intention of going to funeral or not.
The Jackson’s should of invited her to the private memorial.
I love Elizabeth Taylor all my life, not just as a fan but also as a Mother to me.
My beloved Mother Ms.Feriha Sevim Evren passed away two years ago at age 81. Her youth resembled Elizabeth Taylor very much.
The times I was at the bording schools away from my Mom in a different Countries.. I always lived with Elizabeth Taylor’s news and pictures sorrounding me. She doesn’t know but she was there for me even though as a media news. Beside writting letters to my Mom or looking at my Mom’s pictures.
I am so sad that she is depressed and missing her friend Michael Jackson as we all do. I wish my condolonces to her and pray for her to get better soon.
A heart with full of LOVE will know what we go through when we loose a good soul !!!
