So last week I received my issue of ELLE magazine and immediately was shocked at the cover of 16-year-old Miley Cyrus.
Believe it or not, I hadn’t seen the photo until I actually had the issue in my hands.
Miley is seen bending backwards, face half shadowed, with only her budding boobs to her crotch in the spotlight. Now, I am certainly no prude, folks, but this cover just rubs me the wrong way. The Annie Liebowitz photos have nothing on this in my opinion.
The cover flat out says, “Miley! On dad, boyfriends, and why she’s not a kid anymore.”
Let me tell you something ELLE, she IS still a kid, and I think this photo is in seriously bad taste. Just because she has boobs now doesn’t mean she is a full-fledged adult.
I think ELLE exploited Miley, but isn’t that what the fashion industry does to kids? C’mon daddy, wake up and fight for your kid. She’ll have enough time to exploit herself after she is 18, but for now, this is on your watch, moron.
i agree.. these questionable pictures of miley cyrus NEED to stop. she is just a kid, and she needs to stop being given reasons to think otherwise. i feel like she thinks she is 19, when she is clearly far from that.
You think they forced her to pose that way.. She seems to know what’s up and how to do it to me.
so i think disney requires their female teen stars to go from sweet to tart. it must be in their contract because they all do it. and daddy only sees dollar signs when he looks at his little angel. these kids are not seen as people by anyone. they are just a money maker. it is very sad.
I was shocked to see this, she looks like a slut, I’m only 16, and I think she looks redicilous. She thinks she’s so hot and old but she needs a wake up call, she ugly and ONLY 16. And I think her father is a moron, it’s seems like he doesn’t give a crap if she’s a slut.
