Paula Abdul quits American Idol
Paula Abdul has confirmed that she has quit American Idol!
Paula announced the news on her Twitter account saying,
“With sadness in my heart, I’ve decided not to return to #IDOL. I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent, but most of all..Cont’d…”
“I’ll miss nurturing all the new talent,but most of all being a part of a show that I helped from day1become an international phenomenon.”

It has been confirmed that Kara DioGuardi will be returning to the show.
Paula has been with American Idol since the show’s inception in 2002.
Idol fans, what’s your opinion? Are you glad or mad that she is leaving?
I don’t like it one bit. I hate Dioguardi. Between her and Randy you haven’t even got a whole brain or thought. That makes me sad. I will miss Paula’s giant jewelry, crazy cleavage, drunken babbling and seal clapping. I might not be able to watch Idol anymore.
Was it due to money? They are going to regret it.
I agree with Jenny! I basically watched idol to see what Paula was gonna do or say. That Kara chick is LAME… It looks like the hubby & I will be skipping idol this year.
Despite all the allegations that Paula is wacky or on drugs, on Idol she is the voice of reason–and certainly compassion–balancing Simon’s personal attacks and harsh criticisms. I am not sure I will want to watch Idol w/out her. I certainly will miss seeing her (always curious to see what she will be wearing) and hearing her opinions.
Paula, please reconsider your decision and stick with Idol! The contestants need you!!!!!
