Chima Simone speaks out about being evicted from Big Brother!

Was Chima Simone of Big Brother 11 evicted by producers – or did she, in fact, quit the show on her own terms?

Chima is speaking out about her eviction in a letter written to Big Brother Examiner. She claims she DID quit Big Brother and says that producers of the CBS reality show would like you to believe that they evicted her.

She writes:

Yes, I did in fact quit the show, although there are reports on EW from CBS to the contrary. Big Brother would like everyone to believe I was kicked off for not following the rules, but I went to the producers repeatedly over the past couple of days wanting to leave….wanting out of that house!

As crazy as that house is, the producers NEVER want the world to think or know that we houseguests DO LEAVE when it becomes futile to stay. I lost faith in the show & my ability to remain committed to this game. All of the remaining housemates know I wanted to leave and that is why any conversation concerning me is cut in the live feed because they don’t want America to hear the truth about my voluntary departure.

Do you really believe that I would be expelled for tossing my microphone when past houseguests have only been kicked off for violence & threats of violence? You know better, as do I.

It’s better that I left. I did what was best for me in this game and that was to leave. When I chose to play & play hard the power I did earn was completely usurped by a game piece never used before in this game and my HOH reign was rendered useless. I have no regrets. As cliche’ as it sounds, until the public is a part of a human pressure cooker, then the judgements should cease.

I find it interesting that my personal attacks on Russell have been highlighted, but his attacks on me pushed under a rug. Selective portrayals? I think so. Russell did terrorize the house, especially the women in the house. Why America constantly finds men attacking women okay, yet vilifies the woman defending herself, will always confound me. But what’s done is done, now BB fans can find a new woman to hate. I didn’t sign up for what I was exposed to & I left gladly. It was the principle of the matter, the $500,000 prize be damned. That’s all for now! Take Care…’

So, Big Brother fans, do you believe that Chima is telling the truth? Do you think that the show’s producers are twisting what actually happened on order to wipe their hands of any wrongdoing? OR do you think Chima lives life by constantly playing the victim, feeling that the world owes her something?

Yes, I know Chima was brutally raped and attacked, and for that, I sincerely feel for her. BUT, as many of you have said, that gives her no right to treat people the way she does. She points fingers at everyone else rather than taking a long hard look in the mirror at herself and what she is doing to contribute to these explosive situations in the Big Brother house.

Whether she realizes it or not, she is full of much rage and hate. And whomever her target happens to be, is the one who will feel her wrath. And there will always be a target because that vileness and venom needs to come out somehow.

I am also not excusing Russell’s verbally abusive ways in the house, and I have mentioned them before as well. He also has major anger issues. I think that’s why he and Chima butted heads..because they are so much alike. But I never heard Russell say that Chima, or anyone else for that matter, deserved to be raped (Chima said that she wished Russell would hit her, go to jail and get raped), nor did I hear him mock a houseguest’s religion (Chima said Russell was not a Catholic, but a Muslim terrorist), or accuse a HG of being a racist Nazi (which she did to Ronnie). Chima always made it personal, and always said the most evil, atrocious, and hateful things her vacant little heart could conjure up. That’s why America can’t stand her, and that’s why no one is shedding one tear for her after her departure. And honestly, I don’t think anyone really cares HOW it was that she left the show. All we care about is the fact that she DID.

Hey, I have to admit I love this show.

Look, I AM a strong black woman…..but that doesn’t excuse Chima’s behavior. The sense of entitlement poor self control is why America (and I) disliked Chima, not because of her race. You can be strong and outspoken without being a bully, immature and/or manipulative. I for one was ecstatic to see her go, and I hope Lydia (with her equally bad attitude) is the next one out the door!!!

The individual chima, apparently had very poor upbringing. The poor thing could not make a complete sentence properly without screwing it up with vulgar language. That’s real caring and respect for all the children watching the show. Children like game shows as well as the adults. It’s a real travesty how she brought such great shame to her grandmother and other blood relatives. I’m sure that some of the folks that were her friend will not be so eager to associate themselves with her after the things she said and did on national television. She sure can’t say she didn’t, want to see the recording? But many times there’s a hidden silver lining in even the worst situations. She may very well have a good future awaiting her that would allow travel to various places, meeting people from all over and possibly getting to work with animals. She just may be the ideal individual the Circus has been looking for.

WELL REGARDLESS, AT LEAST SHE IS GONE AND I CANNOT WAIT FOR TONIGHT’S SHOW!!!

No Mickey, BB doesn’t “promote disgusting behavior” however they will allow you to show America who you really are. And Chima did just that.
She didn’t just break the rules on that night, she broke them from day one as shown on the retakes. Look, she knew upon entering the home she had to abide by the rules as everyone else. She thought she was better and entitled therefore those rules somehow didn’t apply to her.
And the poster who says who cares if she left of her own free will or was asked to leave. The reason I think people, including myself are speaking of this is because it goes back to her character. She didn’t leave…….. she “talked smack” about leaving but didn’t have enough guts to do so. Instead she threw a tantrum as we have all seen. The Producers had enough, let her slide enough and kicked her out. She got what she deserved and I’m so happy she is not a part of the Jury. Imagine sitting in the Jury house with that!
She was a poor, rude sport in this game and I suspect she is no different in life.

Chima got what she deserved. She is probably kicking herself right now! She threw a tantrum that cost her $500,000. I love that her alliance is getting picked off one at a time! Go Jeff!!!!!

    Hey T.J.

You’re a complete spazz. Did Chima deserve to get kicked off (and no question about it, SHE DID GET KICKED OFF!), hell yeah. She showed her ass, and the door hit her in it. She’s not what you call a “strong black woman”, she’s just a crazy bitch in any race. She came in the game thinking she could own it, and BB wasn’t having it. If she didn’t want to go along with the rules, she shouldn’t have signed up. Frankly, i’m glad the bitch is gone!!!

I wonder what she would have done if the tables were turned and she had the power. she wouldn’t have complained then

Does it really matter that she got kicked out ot she left herself? She looks bad in any aspect. I liked Chima at first because we had a lot of things similar – African Americans/Women/Writers/Leo, but when she opened her big mouth I was disguested almost every time. Chima did not represent me or anyone I know. She was mad because things did not go her way and to release some statement trying to explain herself makes her look even more ignorant. Big Brother is a game and as long as I have watched the show there was always twist in the game (nothing new).

Hey Chima, I have been on a reality show and I know your speaking the truth. It is all a production and it’s all about ratings so the producers will do what they need to do to get what they want.

Russ sucks and I am glad he is gone. I don’t think he became a jerk because of the show…he is a jerk and treats women horrible!

  • Unbearable

Yaya!!!!! I TOTALLY agree with you. I thank you for saying what I was thinking. She gives African American women a bad name, and in no way does she represent our culture as a whole. It is sad because her role on the show only successfully reinforced the stereotypes that keep our culture down.
TJ, you are entitled to your opinion, but your way of thinking is absurd. I too am a strong African American woman, and I don’t need to resort to elementary tactics in order to get my way. Chima, was played by the game. She didn’t play it. She let personal opinions get in the way of strategy…. oh and this is what she does in a game that is totally based on strategy. I wouldn’t bet on her in the future. She has a lot of maturing to do, and whether she quit, or got expelled I was ecstatic to see her go.

LET THE WHINEY BABY GO HOME!!! She couldn’t stand up and take the loss like a woman, so in my eyes she can never really say that she ever was. That was outspoken CRAP…. no foundation.

I could never figure out what Chima expected of the experience? Did she think she was going to a luxury hotel and every week anyone that didnt kiss up to her would be sent home and then on September 15 th she would be handed $500,000. ???? What an embarrassment to her family. From day 1 she was complaining about conditions. Then as soon as anyone challenged her or her group she wents nuts.

I dont care about black or white or religion. That woman needs help.
