Michelle Obama chose to wear shorts while returning from a family vacation at the Grand Canyon.

Some people, who obviously have nothing better to do, are complaining that shorts are inappropriate for the first lady, and that her shorts are, in fact, too short.

Please people, these shorts probably have a 10-inch zipper. She looks fine. I honestly cannot believe what some people will bitch about..

if her shorts were any longer they would be capris. it’s not like she’s wearing daisy dukes where the pocket lining is longer than the shorts. she’s on vacation, leave her alone. she looks great.

the obama’s can’t get a break. first it was oh it’s not appropriate for her to wear a sleeveless dress, then he’s wearing grandmom jeans, now this.

While I don’t think her shorts are too short, I do think she is entirely too casual. Sure, the Obamas should get some time to relax and wear casual clothes. However, if the military has to wear their absolute best around her, she should at least make the effort to look better than she does when she is around them. Bleh.

I don’t get the uproar about this. She’s human. She’s not on tv, doing an interview, talking to the press in anyway. She’s getting off a freaking air plane, and on her way home. BFD if she’s wearing shorts. I would be too. Hell I guess it’s a good thing I’ll never be first lady, I would likely be freaking lynched for the way that I dress. Since when is being casual a crime??

I think everyone just need to calm down she looks fine and appropriate for the occassion… Goodness everyone who has a problem with it most likely are the same people that have a problem with President Obama as well … People are being absolutely ridiculous… Change is here… get over it already…!

Nobody actually has a problem with the shorts. I think America is just bored. Anyone who can honestly tell me they have a problem with the clothing, is going to be somebody way up on some high horse, judging people by the way they dress, when in reality, there are probably more respectable homeless people than those individuals.

Well the people that hate her, and apparently there are a lot of them out there for some reason, will find wearing shorts is all sort of wrong.

The rest of us thinking people, and people who have been to Arizona in the summer (100 degress is minimum temp, LOL) and those of us who take casualy family vacations will see apsolutely nothing wrong with her wearing shorts on vacaction.

Maybe if Queen Michelle takes a European official visit she can nude sunbathe on the Rheine. I mean, heck with decorum and following in the time trusted role as first lady in honoring your country at all times. Who says first ladies need to be classy?

If the military has to dress up, then the first lady can dress up. I think her dress is completely unappropriate. Besides, her husband is was not born in the United States and she or he does not have a right to live in the White House. They have hijacked our Constitution and our Country.

The military has down time also. The soldiers on AF1 are on duty and thats the duty uniform you dummy. What should she have worn in 100 degree heat to the grand canyon, a tweed longsleeve pantsuit made of polyester so she could sweat to death and then people like you would critize her choice of antiperspirant because she would have sweat stains under her arms that dummys like you don’t want her to bare.. Leave her alone. and look at yourself next time you go to the grocery store…Make sure you wear youe business suit because remember you are conducting a business transaction.

There are so many folks that I know that cringed at the sight of her getting off our official aircraft dresed like she was going to do charing…..I live in 155 deg & I wouldnt step out of my house looking like that.. there are more appropriat outfits that she could have chosen, like a cute little summer dress perhaps.but some dont have any class

The point is that she has the disgusting gall, apparently the traditional hallmark of a liberal, to prance around in something someone would wear while working in a garden or other yard work, in front of Air Force personnel standing at attention in full dress uniform. It is a blatant insult to the United States Air Force, which seems to be the elusive concept to the brain of a democrat.
