Last time we saw her she had black hair..

I love Frances Bean. But she makes me feel so damn old. I remember when she was just a little tike, hanging out with her mommy around Lake Washington after Kurt died. The whole world wondered and worried what she would grow up to be like.

Amazingly, Frances seems to have grown up to be quite the strong little gal. With an unstable mother and a father who committed suicide (I know from experience how that can f*ck you up) the odds were really stacked against her. She thrives, not on her parent’s legacies, but on being her own person, and that’s what makes her so cool.

The photos below are my two personal favorites of Frances when she was just a tiny lil’ gal. The one with Courtney was taken right after Kurt’s death.
