Big Brother 11 & Pandora’s Box: What mystery does the box contain?
On Friday HOH Kevin discovered the secret room containing Pandora’s Box. Soon after he was locked inside.
[Contains SPOILERS] While that was going on, the houseguests were treated to a money storm, so to speak, with $10,000 cash in one dollar bills raining from overhead. Complete confusion ensued. Jeff eventually discovered a key which he used to free Kevin from the locked room.
Houseguests are still wondering what exactly happened that day, but the only who may know is HOH Kevin.
Allison Grodner, executive producer of Big Brother said of the Pandora’s Box: “I’m gonna tease. There is a secret door that will weigh into the HOH. It’s something we’ve had planned for a while. I wouldn’t call it a power. It’s just something that’s been added to the HOH’s (responsibility).”
There has been A LOT of speculation on the part of some viewers who think the show is catering to Jeff helping to pave the way for him to win this year’s Big Brother. Why? Because America likes him. And when America doesn’t see what they want to on the show, they get bored. Do you think this is true? Of course the show’s producer’s are absolutely denying there is any favoritism going on.
I got most of this information from Big Brother Networks, I am now going back to watch everything unfold on the feeds for myself. Once I have seen it all, I will come back and update – so check back!~
Ok, so I reviewed the footage and of course, we don’t get to see the actua event take place. BUT we do get to listen in as houseguests try and figure out what just happened to them.
We know that they all had to fight for the cash, and none of them know if they get to keep it or exactly how much they ended up with. We also know that Kevin was locked in his secret room and did not participate in the money storm. Once Jeff rescued Kevin, the event was over.
Another bizarre thing that happeed is Jordan seeing the alien in the kitchen mirror, which if you have seen past seasons of Big Brother, you know this happens every now and then. So Jordan sees it and Michelle, who is doing dishes at the sink, does not. Jordan insists she saw the alien but Michelle seems doubtful.
This week is certainly critical for every player in the Big Brother House. Kevin has put up Michelle and Jeff, and Michelle has won POV – and saved herself. Jordan has been put up in her place.
So, as badly as I want to give you more scoop, it looks like we are just going to hang in there and wait to see what happens!

I have never seen even one episode of this show, but after reading this post, I’m even more confused than ever. What the hell is going on in that house?
Too much to explain. You must watch!
I don’t see how the show is trying to get Jeff to win? The show never gave him power us as viewers gave it to him. Then if this key does have power he won it fare and square.
And I’m a Michelle fan first so this isn’t comming from a Jeff super fan.
Here’s what I got from wikipedia for the meaning of pandora’s box.
After Prometheus’ theft of the secret of fire, Zeus ordered Hephaestus to create the woman Pandora as part of the punishment for mankind. Pandora was given many seductive gifts from Aphrodite, Hermes, Hera, Charites, and Horae (according to Works and Days). For fear of additional reprisals, Prometheus warned his brother Epimetheus not to accept any gifts from Zeus, but Epimetheus did not listen, and married Pandora. Pandora had been given a large jar and instruction by Zeus to keep it closed, but she had also been given the gift of curiosity, and ultimately opened it. When she opened it, all of the evils, ills, diseases, and burdensome labor that mankind had not known previously, escaped from the jar, but it is said, that at the very bottom of her box, there lay hope.
There is no reason to think Pandora acted out of malice in opening the jar, for she was exercising her curiosity, and when she saw what was let out of it, she quickly closed it.
So in the end it could be hope for Jeff since he was the one that closed the box.
Hopefully he stays and there’s a double eviction….Nat and Kevin!

grr.. i hope this saves jeff because he is the one thats been doing the dirty work, and all those people are there because of him. Natalie and Keving need to GO! Jordan has to get them out next week if this box doesnt do anything.
