President Obama’s Back to School Speech Video
President Obama addressed school children today in a prerecorded speech, encouraging kids to perform well in school and to step away from the X-Box every now and then.
The President’s speech is somewhat controversial because some parents think the President has an ulterior motive. Some schools/teachers chose not to show it.
I watched the video and really don’t get what all the fuss is about. I thought it was a good idea actually. Reminding kids that they are our future. Not that the kids will really listen to any of it, but ya know..

It’s a good speech and we can see Mr. President is trying to encourage the kids to staying in school and getting up with more education. What’s wrong of that?
Although my kids did not see it in school…I sent it to their emails and facebook pages so they could watch it. I thought it was encouraging and worth listening to. I have no idea what the fuss was about.
how awful of the president to encourage kids to work hard in school and make it a priority. wouldn’t it just be awful for kids to be inspired by Obama and all he has achieved through hard work and education.
Well kids if you don’t do well in school, your letting down your country. YOUR country its more like yours and how can we ruin it all the rich people own every we can ever dream of. AND also if we do that how will anyone ever give us a chance we are 1 in 6 billion in the world
I showed the video to my class and had one child who’s parents wrote a note. That child missed out on an awesome speech!! It was great.
