Tila Tequila’s case against San Diego Chargers’ Shawne Merriman has been rejeced by the San Diego District Attorney’s Office.
Tila claims Merriman forced her to stay at his apartment in the wee hours of September 6. She says he grabbed her forcefully, choked her and held her against her will. He disputes all claims and says that he was merely trying to keep her from drinking and driving. Tila struck back saying that she doesn’t even drink. She claimed she got the name Tila ‘Tequila’ because it was “ironic.”
It is also “ironic” that Tila was seen earlier in the evening drinking shots and cocktails by the staff of a club the couple was at. Another “ironic” thing is a recently posted Twitpic of hers that says: “Me getting Tipsy before going to the Chargers game”.
Then today we see Tila with bruises on her arms. Lots and lots of bruises. Of course these were never Twitpic’d even though she does everything via Twitter. Speaking of Twitter, she’s been on there smack talking the Chargers like a mad woman – like it’s their fault.
So again, after seeing the alleged “bruises” and her side of the story, the D.A. rejects her case. They said specifically:
“After a thorough review of the investigation into the Sept. 6, 2009 incident at the Poway home of Shawne Merriman, our office has determined there is insufficient evidence to prove beyond a reasonable doubt that any crime was committed. The case is now closed.”
So now we are left to wonder . . . was Tila wasted that night? Did she have someone else inflict the bruising on her arms? If she is lying, why would she do such a thing? Attention? Revenge?

i think the bruises may be from him grabbing her arms trying to keep her from doing something, either leaving drunk or just leaving before giving up some lovin’. He is huge and very strong, she is small and very thin, so it probably doesn’t take much to force for someone like him to bruise her. I think they had some sort of fight and being the fame whore she is used “choking” and calling the cops to get back at him. so just because she is bruised doesn’t mean it was done by him in anger. i don’t want to not believe her just because she is a slimy, slutty, moron though either. Its like Paris Hilton saying I’m not really slutty and stupid, that is just my act. If you act that way, don’t be surprised when people treat you like an idiot.
if tila really wanted attention, wouldn’t have done so before she had a reality tv show just for attention? i mean come on, she won for most viewed profile on myspace. she has all the publicity attention in the world, why make up fake bruises now? i’m not saying she’s innocent or guilty. just something to think about.
This was probably a misunderstanding that Tila thought would be a great way to grab attention. Still, hope she was not too hurt.

The other part of the story is that their was another woman at the house, and that person corroborated Shawn’s story – not Tila’s – so all the bruises in the world would never be able to over come an eye witness who refutes your story. The DA did the only thing they could, which was drop the case.
The problem with Tila is that she lied about drinking and like my Grandpapa said, if you lie little, you will lie big. Once you lie you have no credibility, and she did lie about drinking.
I think Tila hit 14.5 minutes with this mess. Turns out she’s little more than an insecure drunken liar on this one.

our justice system works knows that cases of abuse and rape and child
molesting get dropped all the time because of lack of evidence.. These
crimes are always one persons word against the others and therefore
hard to prove beyond reasonable doubt. Also the owner of the club is
shawne merriman So ya people are going to say she was drinking. And by
the way I have been a bartender and I have served people juice and
soda and virgin drinks, they look the same as regular drinks..I’m glad
that you have never had a man put his hands on you so this whole thing
seems foreign and unbelievable. But she has no reason to lie, she has
bruises, and shawne merriman is a big spoiled man child. By the way
tila is 4′11 and like 90 pounds.

First of all, If I was Shawn Merriman i would be embarassed I dated a worn out hooker like Tila Tequila. Tila has got to have issues I mean look at her path to “stardom”. A giant TV whore. Does she think people actually respect her? I wonder. Poor girl, and girls like her that because they show off their goods and men find them sexy (for awhile) they think that that kind of attention is good. But in reality, theres no respect in that. And then they are burnt out and thrown to the side. And even if she was telling the truth, and Merriman did beat her, because of her actions and how people have absolutely no respect for that, case is dismissed. Just like another hooker on the streets getting beat. Seriously, that is sad.
