Kanye West rushed the stage during Taylor Swift’s VMA acceptance speech
What a jerk.
Kanye West managed to make an ass of himself again on the MTV Video Music Awards. While Taylor Swift was accepting her award for Best Female Video, West barreled onstage and robbed her of her moment. He ranted on about Beyonce’s video and how it was one of the greatest of all-time. But it wasn’t about Beyonce. This was about Kanye – and him making it all about Kanye.
Beyonce seemed shocked and probably embarrassed by it all. Later when she came onstage to accept her award for Video of the Year [Single Ladies] she invited Taylor onstage to finish her speech. Way to go, Bey.
Kanye later apologized on his blog saying: “SOOOOO SORRY. I’m in the wrong for going on stage and taking away from her moment. Beyonce’s video was the best of this decade. I’m sorry to my fans if I let you guys down. I’m sorry to my friends at MTV. I will apologize to Taylor.”
He should be banned from further MTV award shows. He’s always in the news inciting trouble. Never will listen to his music again.
Well, the crowd booed his ass for the rest of the night. People are tired of him. Can’t wait he disappears.
Kanye west takes it upon himself to fight an imaginary cause that obviously doesn’t exist except in his own distorted mind. first of all i think people are taking what kanye did and running with it and overreacting in a way that they are no better than he was that night.
having said that. i agree with alot of things said:
1. he is without a doubt a racist

4. he is attention starved and needs to be the center of everything’
5. he feels his beliefs and opinions deserve to be recognized by all
6. he pushes his opinions on others and forces them down our throats
7. he ruined a moment in what taylor was trying to say was her dream to get a VMA and how unexpected it was with her being a country singer to get a mainstream award like a VMA and recognition by the fans
8. the stunt was fueled by racism and the fact a white woman won the award over a black woman.
9. he has had way too many incidents similar to the one at the VMAs
10. he truly believes that he is better than everyone else and that he has a sense of entitlement because of his talents
11. he uses his fame as a platform to get out whatever agenda he has at the time
12. he needs to be knocked off his high horse and realize that he does not have the right to hurt or disrespect another human being the way he did last night
13. if the roles were reversed then sh*t would have hit the fan and he would have no doubt went on a tour in protest of the incident. also probably would have started a riot and wouldnt have stood there as taylor did while the other person went on a rant about how he didnt deserve his award and someone else deserved it more. and most certain is the race card would have been played without a doubt.
14. if he really feels the way he does then he should have stated so after the show to someone or some other outlet. but not during the winners acception speach.
15. its the fans choice to select the winner, and he had and has no business in saying who should have won the award simply because he likes a different video better (just about everybody at one time or another has felt like someone else other than the actual winner should have won an award for a certain category) and (not everyone agrees with the outcomes but everyone accepts it because there is a process in how winners are selected and that process is recognized and accepted)
