Terribly sad news to report. Patrick Swayze is dead, despite giving pancreatic cancer a run for it’s money.
He was only 57.
Swayze has been battling the disease since February 2008, when he was diagnosed. He leaves behind his wife of 32-years, Lisa Niemi.
My heart goes out to Lisa. I can’t imagine having a spouse for that long and then losing them.
You will be missed Patrick!

Very sad news.
To battle such a wretched disease must have been a living hell. He fought with dignity till the end.
May he RIP.
He fought so hard not only to live but be alive and productive while fighting a form of cancer that rarely has a 6 month survival rate once diagnosed, he made it nearly two years and worked almost up until the end. I can only imagine the pain of his family’s loss, but he certainly leaves a legacy that will entertain people who are not even born yet – plus he was really well liked and one of the good guys in an industry know for self obsessed asses.
