David Hasselhoff drunk in 2007
David Hasselhoff was admitted to a hospital Sunday night after becoming extremely drunk.
Apparently his daughter was upset by how intoxicated he was and phoned her mom. 911 was then called and David was taken to the hospital. You know, the same old routine in the Hasselhoff household.
Back in 2007 Hasselhoff’s daughter filmed him in a drunken stupor, eating food from a plate on the floor. He has been in and out of rehab numerous times.
C’mon David, get it together. At least while your daughter is living under your roof. It’s very stressfull for children of alcoholics to watch their parents in such a state. A few years back, Hayley, then 14, was hospitalized after cutting herself. It’s obvious that her father’s alcoholism has affected her deeply. A sad situation.
UPDATE: David’s publicist is saying that David was not drunk at all. They claim that he has an ear infection and his equilibreum is off. Yeah riiiiiiiiiiight. Pass the scotch.
Why would someone have posted that video with the burger? What that to embarrass him?
In any case; this is a tragic situation for the whole family. I wish them well.
How sad that he’s drinking himself to death. A pr rep is paid to lie, and sadly I think it will be one of his girls that eventually find his body when he drinks to the point of alcohol poisoning and no one finds him in time, which he’s done at least 3 times before. How sad that one of his girls will be destroyed by something he can get under control but chooses not to.
All that fame and money and he’s got more in common with someone living on skid row. Very sad.
I agree…it’s one thing to be a drunken mess, it’s another thing to be a drunken mess when you still have a child to take care of.
To touch on Chris’ question, I believe that the footage was posted in order to embarrass him into sobriety…a “scared straight” situation, except “embarrassed sober” in this case.
