In case you don’t know, Peter Paul & Mary is a folk band in the in 1960s. They have several famous songs, like Puff the Magic Dragon. And this Britney song is definitely not appropriate for teens and kids.

Not her best song, but I like the beat. I think it’s funny how people think that if you sing something then it means you are really doing it. It couldn’t possibly be about making a song catchy or get people upset. It definitely means you are doing what the song lyrics say. I also think it’s funny how people will immediately blame artists for their children’s behavior. It has nothing to do with their responsibility as a parent to monitor what their children come in contact with or their responsibility to talk to them about serious situations about sex and drugs. No, this is all musicians and artists fault for making music about those things and their children listening to it. If parents did their job and took responsibility, there wouldn’t be as many pregnant teens, or your excuse for child’s behavior, to blame on musicians and artists.
If she’s so creative and talented, then why is it that the only thing she sings about lately is S*E*X*? I mean, it’s kinda getting old. I just heard this song driving home from getting dinner with my daughters who are 9 and 3. they are both very bright and i talk to them about things i feel they can handle at each age when i feel its appropriate. this song has a great beat and i think that britney has done it again. its wonderful that she is consistently coming out with these hits. and the lyrics are semi clever enough for nature minds to understand and younger ones to just like it for the beat and because its britney. all the smart minded ppl can just get over it and make the choice to pick up their finger and change the damn radio station. luckily that is one of the great freedoms we have!

So I think Britt is great. Whether its about sex or not.she hAs good beats and great lyrics. She puts them in a way adults can understand but children wouldn’t and if they do then they learned before they heard the song.
