Dave & Stephanie Birkitt
Stephanie Birkitt, the “other woman” in the David Letterman sex scandal, has been banned from the Late Night with David Letterman set at CBS.
Since the scandal has broke Birkitt has been in hiding, and why CBS is choosing to “ban” her is beyond me. Not surprising it is David Letterman who comes out looking like a hero, and Birkitt, a total zero. It’s so typical in the celebrity world, or in society as a whole. The man deserves a high five – and the woman is a dirty whore.
Unless Birkitt has been stalking Dave or causing a scene, I just don’t think this is necessary. Doesn’t CBS know that by doing this they are creating even more sensationalism around this scandal?

It could be to placate Regina, don’t you think? There is a lesson here though if you keep diary’s and notes about love affairs with famous people lying around the house for your new boyfriend to read and he turns out to be a skeezy blackmailer because you suck at choosing men – and the entire affair turns into a legal, criminal, embarrassing public situation, there does have to be accountability on everyone’s part.
Yes the woman in a cheating situation has always been looked down on more, as a man stealer, and someone who is trying to break up a relationship. I don’t think that is going to change either. They both did wrong by Regina but at the end of the day they were both consenting single adults who seem to have both made very poor decisions. She’s going to be fine, so is Dave and this will blow over.
Agreed on every level, Jinxy. I bet you are right about appeasing Regina. I would have done the same thing. I can’t believe I failed to look at it from a wife’s point of view.

Spot on, Jinxy. That is exactly what this whole situation is about, but I cannot completely blame the wife for this. Still, I’d like to see more than a few half contrite “I’m sorry”s from Letterman, but I won’t be holding my breath!
He shoulkd be banned, didn’t he cheat with multiple diff ones? So why ban her then? BS.
