Submit your song for a chance to play at the Levi’s®/FADER Fort in Austin, Texas at Converse’s “Get Out of the Garage” Music Contest. Not a musician? It’s cool, just VOTE for your favorite to win a free trip to the event to watch the winners perform!

* Winners will be flown out to play at the Levi’s®/FADER Fort in Austin, TX and will be awarded $1000!

* Deadline to submit songs is November 22nd

* Voting deadline is November 29th

* December 1 – Top 10 finalists announced

* December 31 – 2 Grand prize winners announced

Converse and Journeys have teamed up to bring the second annual “Get Out of the Garage” music contest.  4,000 artists have already entered!

Last year, Grand Prize winner Flying Machines won tremendous exposure, which lead to a record deal with EMI. The TWO Grand Prize winners of this year’s Get Out of the Garage contest will each win an all expense paid trip to perform with Flying Machines at the Levi’s®/FADER Fort in Austin, TX, a $1000 gift card from Guitar Center, a $1000 cash prize provided by OurStage, Converse shoes and Levi’s jeans. The remaining 8 finalists will receive gift certificates from Converse and Guitar Center.

Not a musician? Not a problem. All you have to do is judge and you will be eligible to win an all expensed trip to the Levi’s®/FADER Fort in Austin, TX to see the Grand Prize winners perform live. As an added bonus, each day during the contest 10 fans who judge in the competition will be picked at random to win a gift certificate from Journeys and will automatically be entered for the chance to see the Grand Prize winners perform at the Levi’s®/FADER Fort!!!
