Katie Price Chelsea Handler video
Katie Price (Jordan) went on the Chelsea Handler Show recently and when I heard this, I almost peed myself.
If there is any show I would love the see Price on, it is Chelsea’s show. Because that bitch can handle anyone! Not only that, she is really good about being coy while busting your balls.
For example, Chelsea brought up Katie’s new boyfriend, Alex Reid, asking her: “So he’s a celebrity then, too?”
Katie: “Well he might be now that he’s been pictured with me everywhere.”
(and now for the good part..)
Chelsea: “Right. right. Well, you’re obviously going to take him straight to the middle.”
Ha! Katie is so dense she doesn’t even realize what’s been said and she agrees with Chelsea saying, “Exactly.”

That’s a baseball term. we dont have baseball in the UK so ’straight to the middle’ makes no sense to us. often in interviews when you arnt sure whats said you just play along.

what does ’straight to the middle’ mean? im from the uk and someone said its a baseball term..
ha ha .. no it is not a baseball term.
she is playing on the phrase ’straight to the top’ or ‘they’re going straight to the top’
… as in someone who is talented, hardworking, a go-getter is on their way straight to the top. they are well on their way to being successful or in a position of power.
because she is obviously some kind of fame whore, with no talent or skill and will never be of real consequence to anyone, the most being attached or associated with her would entail for anyone is mediocrity or some kind of fleeting notoriety from their picture in a tabloid magazine. so she is not this guy’s ticket straight to the top, but straight to the middle, ha or by the looks of her a doctor’s office and prescription for antibiotics.
as far as sports references are concerned, maybe you are thinking of ‘up the middle’ or ’straight up the middle’ which could be an american football reference. that would mean to run the ball straight through the defensive line which would be down the middle of the field and the opposition team’s defensive formation.
It’s a back handed insult meaning they aren’t really anything other than zlisters who sell anything and have no real talent but they are out shilling products others make and slap their name on them. After hearing her speak, does anyone really think she’s even written one of the 30 books she’s “authored”, does anyone believe she can design anything? She’s an idiot with big tits who was a page 2 girl and figured out by sleeping around and keeping herself in the papers got famous for nothing. Chelsea was laughing at her and making fun of her in a subtle way.
I love Chelsea’s show, if you ever want to see the most uncomfortable and awkward interview ever it’s Chelsea interviewing Russel Brand, I wasn’t sure which one was more afraid of the other but it was 7 min of each of them insulting each other. Brilliant.
Durrrr…..this is obviously an American English euphemism, and it would seem quite a little-known one at that. I googled for it and found one site, but even on that site it was called “a hard drive straight up the middle” rather than “to the middle”.
Katie Price would appear to be pretty thick, yes, but mocking her for not ‘getting’ a little-known US euphemism is pretty lame.
I think Katie Price knows exactly that she is `straight in the middle’ …. as in she knows she is a relatively untalented individual who just gets by on force of her personality/brand whatever.
The interviewer came across as a little mean-spirited and envious if you ask me.
If you think she’s such a waste of space, why have her on your show?
I am from the UK, but even I am intelligent enough to understand that “straight to the middle” is not, I repeat, IS NOT some American-English phrase! She is simply satirically playing on the phrase “Straight to the top” ! What does it say about Ms Price’s intelligence level and ability as an “author” to not pick up on this??
