New Moon ticket sales show no signs of tapering off this weekend, as the latest “Twilight” movie is trending to sell more than 10 tickets per second throughout the course of the day on Fandango.
Summit Entertainment has reported that New Moon has set a new record for opening midnight shows with an estimated gross of $26.270 million playing at 3,514 theaters for a per theater average of $7,476.
Several thousand of Thursday night’s midnight shows were sold out in advance on Fandango. Fandango sold nearly 30% of Thursday night’s estimated domestic box office for New Moon.

I watched the movie last night, here in Argentina it already premiered… I liked it a lot, way better than the first one! Thank God the director was changed! BTW, what is Taylor Lautner eating??? He looks incredible!!!
I am not sure, it’s getting HORRIBLE reviews, really bad. I may pass and wait for HBO. I do however have great love for fandango.
