Bryant Gumbel revealed this morning that he has lung cancer.

Gumbel was filling in for Regis Philbin on Regis & Kelly this morning when he confessed that he had a malignant tumor removed from his chest, as well as part of a lung. He said:

“They opened up my chest; they took a malignant tumor, part of my lung and some other goodies. The pathology on most of the stuff came back benign but enough aggressive cells had escaped the tumor that it warranted some treatment.”

We wish him continued success with his health. Cancer SUCKS!
