Redmond O’Neal arrested for drugs
The son of the late Farrah Fawcett, Redmond O’Neal, was arrested for drugs, once again, during a 24-hour pass from rehab.
The arrest occurred on December 29th and resulted in a felony drug charge. Since he violated his probation, he now faces six years in prison.
This is just an ongoing cycle with this kid. It’s sad really, but hell, his dad is an addict too, and forgive me for talking about the deceased, but I’m pretty sure Farrah did her fair share of drugs as well. (Remember the Comedy Central’s Roast of William Shatner, or her crazy appearance on Letterman?) So this kid really never had a chance.
Sadly, he is probably going to spend most of his life behind bars. I don’t see him getting any better. He has no support group or family to help him. It’s unfortunate..

So Sad – another Lost Soul -seems the Media is filled with stories like this -espcially from kids that had every opportunity to create a better life – I know sooo many people that had every excuse to go towards this destructive path -with their past filled with abuse, abandonment, etc -but still decided go down the more cheerful & sucessful path -so sad `cause no one really has the anwers or cure for this.
Despite the whole situation, I really wish he fights his demons and finds freedom from his addictions.
Why is he being let out at all, he did a serious crime by bringing drugs into a jail, was on a gift of a program that none of us would have gotten and should have been clean for at 6 months before a day pass was ever considered. He’s a hard core drug addict and has been or most of his life. None of us would have gotten the chances he’s gotten and it’s time for him to be treated like everyone else, and the only thing that is going to happen is he’s an addict for life and in and out of prison until he OD’s. I’m sure his father will not shed many tears as he will have Farrah’s money to keep him warm. I hope Redmond is smart enough to file a will and cut daddy dearest out. Perhaps Cancer Research would be good karma. He needs to just do his time and not get all the special treatment. He’s not special he’s a junkie.
