Casey Johnson’s Life in the Fastlane

Casey Johnson

Casey Johnson lived fast and hard.

Her family knew, it, her friends knew it, and we knew it. She craved fame and she liked to party. Sadly, in death Casey finally found the fame she so desired.

Most of the interviews with “friends” have suggested that Casey’s family had wanted her to go into treatment, but Casey never wanted the help for herself. Rumor has it that her family cut her off from funds and that in her last days Casey was lying to people, asking to borrow money saying it was needed for her adopted daughter.

Yes, you heard me right. She actually had an adopted daughter. In 2007 Casey adopted a baby from Kazakhstan and named her “Ava”. However, by 2008 Casey’s mother took the baby away from her when she realized Casey hadn’t been caring properly for the child.

Who, pray tell, let this woman adopt a child in the first place? There are couples that wait an eternity to adopt, but Casey Johnson was somehow declared fit to be a capable mother? Amazing…and frightening.

Now, keep in mind that Casey’s supposed “friends” who are running to the media with some of these stories are probably complete bottom feeders as well. One “friend”, Jasmine Lennard, claimed: “I tried so hard to save her but I couldn’t.”

Really now? Because this is the same woman who accused Casey of thievery back in November which resulted in Casey’s arrest for grand theft.

Lennard did, however, say that anyone who crosses paths with Tila Tequila is just asking for trouble, and this I completely agree with. I have said it on my video blogs, that Tila is fricking CRAZY. She’s the kind of girl who would get hopped up on drugs and party with you, maybe have sex with you, then cry rape the next day. Lennard seems to agree and has a bizarre story to back it up.

She said: “On one occasion she (Tila) called me and a male friend screaming, saying people were breaking into her home. When I arrived, she was naked with a kitchen knife screaming, but no one was there. Everyone who crosses her path suffers consequences.”

Of course I am not blaming Casey’s death on Tila, but I am sure she wasn’t exactly a good influence on her either.

Casey’s cause of death is still yet to be determined. She was a known diabetic and there were no “obvious signs” that she had taken narcotics before her death. But basically none of that means anything until toxicology reports come back. Like all the other celebrity deaths in the past year, it’s a waiting game.

Her family had been trying to help her for a couple of years insisting she go to rehab, I don’t think she had a huge drug or drinking problem but any partying for someone with type 1 diabetes is dangerous, so they cut off her funds in order to force her into treatment and get on the right path. When she adopted her daughter she had access to her dividends of the trust set up for her which is why the adoption went through. Her real problem was establishing her own identity as something other than as the J&J heiress, she wanted more than that but never seemed to click with any job or charity that would provide her with a more stable life, like her mother, sisters and aunt. She like a lot of women couldn’t seem to find the guy and I think wanted fame and fell in with the lesbian’s of hollywood. Lennard shouldn’t be opening her mouth, she’s a full blown addict who stole from her family friends and supposedly tricks, she’s been an escort for sometime and it seems more than rumor since she has not had a real paying job in forever and she leads a pretty international lifestyle. Her family has no money, her father did in the 80′s but no more. She was part of the problem with Casey – not part of the solution. Tila was along for the ride and name recognition and was the only one of her “friends” who would spend time with her, Bijou sure wasn’t nor was Nicky Hilton. Casey only had a sad life at the end because she chose to make it sad by not cooperating and getting back in the good graces of her parents, part of me admires that she refused to go just for the money but it’s clear she did need help. I don’t think it’s going to turn out she had a massive overdose and died, more likely she was just a sick girl who died alone and probably felt unloved and abandoned. It’s a sad story but it’s cautionary that she wanted to be famous for fame’s sake rather than for any real personal achievement, and she of all people had the ability to use her wealth and name for good, instead she wanted to be one of the “it” girls. I hope she finds the peace that eluded her when she died.
