Prince wrote and recorded a fight song, “Purple and Gold,”for the Minnesota Vikings and I am like, WTF?

Ok, so I am a football fan and a Prince fan, but seriously, this supposed Vikings fight song has me totally shaking my head!

Listen to it and tell me what you think. Seriously. Doesn’t it sounds like a Christmas song? I can imagine people singing this at my doorstep on a snowy December 23rd evening. But a football fight song? HUH? I am totally NOT diggin’ it, folks. Certainly not powerful and menacing as any fight song should be. Instead it is cheesy and well, embarrassing to the Minnesota Vikings, I can imagine.
