Nancy Kerrigan’s Father Dies, Brother Involved?

Nancy Kerrigan and dad

Nancy Kerrigan’s father Daniel Kerrigan and her brother, Mark Kerrigan, were reportedly involved in a fight together at the skater’s childhood home in Boston.

As Kerrigan’s mother describes it, Daniel and Mark became involved in a scuffle after arguing about the telephone. Daniel refused to let his son use the phone and this apparently caused Mark to freak out, grabbing his father by the throat. Nancy’s mother told local media that Mark thought his father was fake choking as he was strangling him.

During the fight, Daniel ended up having a massive heart attack and died.

When police arrived they had to subdue a drunken Mark with pepper spray. He has since been charged with assault and battery on an elder with serious bodily injury. He is due in court this morning.

Gee, what a great kid. Did he live at home at the age of 45? I’m sure there was a good reason dad didn’t want him to use the phone. Mark was probably out to do no good, and his dad knew it. Sad situation.

Parents, kick your fricking children OUT of the house! Unless they are going to school, or are enduring extremely tough times, it does neither you or them any favors by letting them mooch off you into adulthood. They grow up to be big, needy, lazy Baby Hueys!

    Very sad chain of events.

It brings to mind of an ice dancing couple from the US in the late 90s named Punsalan & Swallow where Punsalan’s brother stabbed to death their father just before they were to compete at the Olympics.

It’s so sad, he served his country and came back with mental illness which no doubt caused unbearable stress on the family. It’s a terrible tragedy and my heart goes out to the family and it’s a situation no one should have to deal with. Prison is not an answer for someone who is mentally ill and for everyone’s sake I hope this is resolved quickly.
