Lindsay Lohan, a hoarder?

Lindsay Lohan opens up about hoarding to The Insider in an episode that will air tonight.

A camera crew is on hand to film her home which is filled with clothes, unopened purchases and a bedroom full entirely of shoes in boxes. (Ok, I am going to admit, I wish that was my bedroom!) Lindsay says: “It’s kind of a sore subject . . . I just need to get rid of stuff. That’s personal stuff that I have to, you know, work on.”

Maybe she has a tendency to hold on to things because she virtually has no family, or at least no parents that really seem to truly give a rat’s ass about her. Both her parents just use her for their own fame, and sadly, I think it has always been that way for her. And as for the shopping, I’d guess she does it to fill a void. It’s temporary happiness for her to shop and buy things. They don’t call it retail therapy for nothing.

The other sad thing about this situation is that I wonder if Lindsay is only coming forward with this for the attention – something she so desperately craves. On the flip side, it could be another call for help – which is something she desperately NEEDS.

    She is such a mess. Even a black-hearted gossip like me feels only pity and worry for her. I can’t fathom not having ONE friend or family member who would try with all their might to get help if I needed it. Then again, maybe others have tried, but she won’t accept it.

    Does anyone else remember when the police showed up at Lindsay’s house when her burglar alarm went off and the police said the house had been ransacked, and they called her in NYC to tell her and one of Lindsay’s friends went to the house to talk to the police and to see what was stolen, the friend said that nothing was gone and that’s the way Lindsay lived, she never picked or hung anything up and the cops were like wow we thought the placed was trashed, the friend said no it’s the way she lives.

    I don’t think she’s a hoarder, she has mental problems and her home is a reflection of what is going on with her, endless shopping but not care for the items, constant acquiring with out a care for a thing she has, but the uber organization of the shoes which contradicts the rest of her life. It’s very odd and she needs to be studied, but this little clean house experiment ended what little career she thought she had. Over and out in Hollywood.
