Lindsay Lohan Misses Vienna Opera Ball



Lindsay Lohan missed her flight to Vienna’s posh Opera Ball, because she was too busy shopping.

Lohan was invited to the ball as millionaire Richard Lugner’s date, but was a whopping TWO HOURS late boarding her private jet. In order to have made the ball in Vienna Lohan would have needed $22,000 to pay the fine for delaying the flight. But alas, she didn’t have the funds readily available on her credit card. So she decided to bag it all together and go clubbing instead. (In these pics Lindsay and friends leave Voyeur in West Hollywood last night.)

Past celebrities who have served as Lugner’s arm candy include, Ivana Trump, Pamela Anderson, Farrah Fawcett, Carmen Electra, Paris Hilton and Dita Von Teese.

    Someday when Lilo sobers up, she can google why she lost a career. No one goes out 7 nights a week who is healthy, and a person who is in control of their life is not so oblivious that they miss a private jet. Something else happened because there is no charge for delayed flights, you go when you go that’s why people fly private – there is no fee for leaving late either, so I think what happened is that she delayed the flight so long that she would have missed the ball and the trick paying her way wouldn’t have her there in time for the ball and called off her flight to Vienna. Why fly her there and back if she wasn’t going with him to the ball? That’s what I believe happened, and she’s too stupid to tell time and figure out how to get somewhere on time. Which is one of the many reasons she’s never going to act again unless it’s stunt casting.

    I think the 22k is just something some bloggers made up because they don’t understand how the whole private jet renting works. Think about it, if you were going to make 150k, you could absorb 22k out of that check and still come out ahead, but if you procrastinated so long you were going to miss the event then why fly her there at all? The guy wanted a high profile date with a notorious woman who is a lesbian, not to spend time with her after the fact.
