Betty White, SNL Host?



Hell yes we want Betty White to host SNL!

A Facebook movement was started last month to have Betty White host an upcoming episode of Saturday Night Live (SNL).

Already it has over 343,000 fans, because WHO on this earth does not love Betty White? She’s adorable, hilarious and I totally want to be like her when I am 88-years-old! Egad, if I make it that long!

There has been no word from executive producer Lorne Michales, but you can bet he is considering it – and probably kicking himself for not thinking of inviting White himself.

Betty says that she would accept the offer if given the opportunity and is surprised at the support the Facebook fan page has generated.

“I don’t even know where that came from. That just came out of left field. It’s ridiculous. I don’t think Lorne Michaels even knows about it, so we won’t worry about it.” So humble, and that’s another reason to love her.

I bet if Betty White does end up hosting the show, it would probably be one of the most watched episode’s of SNL ever – something the show could use right about now!

    I could see an opening monologue as a “St. Olaf Story”. If Rue McClanahan was well enough, I’d love to see her in a guest spot or if she would re-enact the “campfire dance” from The Proposal with Sandra Bullock as a special guest. The possibilities are endless!

    No campfire dances, please. We’ve had enough rain for one season. If there’s any more rain this season, Arnold Schwarzenneger will have to declare a water abundance.

    Then he’d have to lower taxes, Californian’s economy would recover and the world would flip upside down from the restoration of balance. It’s not supposed to work that way. It’s not supposed to work at all, unless you’re of the ruling class, in which case, everything works and anything goes.
