With the Olympics, Who Needs American Idol?
Seriously. Is anyone even watching Idol? Apparently not. Wednesday, the same night that NBC had it’s highest ratings of the Vancouver Olympics, American Idol had it’s worst ratings of the season.
But not only that, for the first time in 6 years American Idol didn’t slaughter it’s competition in the same time slot. Lindsey Vonn, Shaun White and Shani Davis stole the show.
Honestly, I didn’t even bother setting my DVR for American Idol. I am so over it. I don’t think next week is going to be any more pleasant for Idol, either. So lemme ask you guys, is anyone watching Idol these days? And do you plan on watching once the Olympics are over?
Guilty as charged! I still watch Idol, but am DVR’ing it…I also am watching the Olympics, but need a break here and there. I am up-to-date with Idol as of yesterday.
I never watched Idol to begin with. Simon’s a dick, Paula’s an addict, the male singers are gay, and the show is cliche. But other than that, it’s awesome…
yep, I DVR it and watch it whenever…….I’m hopeless, I still like the Idol……
