Ok do we really need to hear from this man, I for one dont care for his screw ups, the people whom he needs to be saying I’m sorry too are his wife ,children & parents. there are bigger things happening in this world right now, & tiger is not one of them.

I think he was sincere. As he has said, he’s a very private person and I don’t think he’d get up there in front of the entire world like this if he didn’t mean it. He didn’t have to do it–he’s wealthy beyond comprehension, so he doesn’t really NEED the public’s support financially. I think he really feels remorse and would like to start making amends.
Now, was his speech rehearsed? Of course. But I felt like he meant every word.

I find it funny how people think they know whether Tiger was actually sincere or not – does anyone really know Tiger to know how he sounds when he is sincere, I mean he is so private I have never heard his voice on tv. I find it a good first step from today’s press conference and like Elin said – she will see his apology not from his words but from his behaviour over time. And all of the details are not any of our business. I am grateful for his apology – especially to the children and fans who idolize him. He is human and not many “human” celebrities have shown they can handle the fame and I think that is something that needs to be looked at – and I wish the Wood’s family well on their journey to reconstruction and resirection. And I pray that the press will listen to Tiger in leaving Elin and his children ALONE!!!!!!

It was a very carefully worded press conference with no questions, it was turning the tables accusing the tabloids of hounding his family. What ded he expect to happen to his family. He didn’t care until he got caught. Did Tiger truly think a nest of escorts and hookers were going to keep his secrets? Apparently so. today was about getting his endorsements lined up so he can keep his fabulous lifestyle, nothing more or less. I don’t think he cares about his family now any more than when he was banging and drugging with a bunch of low class hookers and had he not been caught and his wife never beat his ass with a nine iron he’d still be sexing up anything that moved.
Today was about money and how Tiger can get back to making the big bucks because his divorce is going to cost him a fortune. Tiger is a very calculating and devious man.
Please dump your Nike stock, and don’t buy their products, women buy most of the clothing in a household for their children. We don’t have to make this man wealthier and all he cares about is money and the prestige, but after all he’s just a golfer – that’s what today was really about. Did anyone else notice that the press conference was held as the Accenture Golf Tournament started? They were a company that dropped him right away, but to take away from their tournament Tiger upstage it with that venue and that day and time. Yep he’s a real sweet heart who has learned his lesson in humility. Fraud.
I think that the whole thing is just a PR spectacle. I also did not like the way that he started referring to religion when he is clearly NOT in any way religious or loyal.
