Oprah Winfrey and longtime girlfriend Gayle King have lunch in Los Angeles.
I know Oprah and Gayle have long denied being gay lovers, but I can’t help but be suspicious ab0ut their relationship.
Of course, it totally wouldn’t bother me if they were gay, I guess they just confuse me. Oprah has said in the past: “I understand why people think we’re gay. There isn’t a definition in our culture for this kind of bond between women. So I get why people have to label it — how can you be this close without it being sexual?”
King has supported this saying: “The truth is, if we were gay, we would tell you, because there’s nothing wrong with being gay.”
I want to believe them, I really do! But still, something in the back of mind says otherwise..

I have a best girlfriend and we are very close. We hang out a lot, talk on the phone often almost everyday. We even work for the same company. I am happily married and my girlfriend is divorced. We have a sisterhood, a strong bond that isn’t sexual. I truly understand Oprah and Gayles’ relationship. I don’t understand why people keep assuming that their gay. People can be very close friends without sex being a part of the relationship.
Oh come on, don’t you have one girlfriend that you’re really close to? My best friend and I are very close and we’re as straight as it gets. Don’t be ridiculous.
