Insane Clown Posse ICP Miracles [VIDEO]

Insane Clown Posse ICP’s new video “Miracles”

Ok, I’ll admit, I was totally into ICP back in the Great Milenko days (their best album, btw) but I haven’t been too into ICP in the past 10 years or so.

Honestly, my brother got me into ICP but after he died I quit listening to them, it just wasn’t the same. (Although I did go to a concert with all my bro’s friends shortly after his death, and we were right up front. I ended up scoring a Faygo bottle from Shaggy, heh.)

Insane Clown Posse was hardcore – rapping about nuts on your forehead, ballin’ fat chicks and wicked, voodoo, doped up killers. But like I said, I haven’t been into them in ages. So when I heard ICP had a new video out, I expected the usual Juggalo craziness. But in all actuality, after listening/watching the video, I was like, WTF?

When did ICP go all soft?

Sure in “Miracles” Insane Clown Posse throw in expletives here and there, but the song is trying to be “deep” – and coming from a couple old guys in clown makeup, it’s kinda hard to take anything they say seriously. I think the real miracle is that these guys still “wow” their fans.

So a band that was once cool, hardcore and raunchy now just looks like a couple goofballs in clown makeup trying to be philosophical. Maybe I’m getting old, heh. But ICP is certainly not the same band they used to be.

I was Down with the Clown as well.. My husband even has the hatchet man tattoo… I LOVED them… but after they released the 6th Jokers Card (the last cd was Hells Pit) they just sucked. I wasted my money buying the last 2 cds. I want the Juggalo shit back, not this shit they are trying to sell… I still like some of the other bands on their Psychopathic Records label… mainly Twiztid, but can’t eff with ICP anymore.

    BTW I 100% about Great Milenko . =) i knew you were cool…

ICP has always had a message with their songs. Go back to any of their old shit and you’ll see that in between all of the wickedness, there is a religous message. Hard to find, but it exists.
