Survivor Producer Arrested Then Released

Former Survivor producer Bruce Beresford-Redman was arrested Thursday in Cancun, Mexico and held as a suspect in his wife’s brutal murder.

Monica Beresford-Redman was found in the sewer of a posh resort where the couple had been staying, she had most likely been asphyxiated. Marks were found on her neck and she suffered a blow to the right temple.

Witnesses say they saw the couple fighting Monday evening, and a security guard claims he witnessed Bruce attempting to hit Monica.

Bruce contacted police and reported his wife missing on Tuesday. He told authorities that his wife had gone shopping the previous day and never returned. Scratches were visible on his neck.

Police are conducting toxicology tests to determine whether or not Bruce was under the influence of drugs the night his wife disappeared. He has since been released from jail, but has not been authorized to leave the country.

RADAR online has reported that Monica recently learned her husband was having a affair. Monica’s sister confirmed the story.

How could someone be so incredibly COLD as to murder their spouse and then dump them in a sewer? It reminds me of Ryan Jenkins last year, killing his wife, cutting her fingers off, then stuffing her in a suitcase and dumping her in a dumpster. The most degrading places to dispose of their bodies. How sad is that? Not that you could “respectfully” murder someone and dispose of their body, but just dayum, what a sad way to die.

It’s amazing to me that they released this guy. I’m not going to say he is guilty, because we really don’t know for sure yet, but c’mon, sure looks like he is. To release him into the general population is just ridiculous. Bastard will probably end up killing himself. Taking the easy way out. Just like Jenkins.
