Nadia Bloom Found!

Nadia Bloom, an 11-year-old girl missing since last Friday (April 9th), has been found alive.

Bloom, a Winter Springs, FL resident, has Autism, specifically, Asperger’s Syndrome, and takes medication for it daily.

The community had been looking for Bloom since Friday, when her bike and helmet were discovered near a wooded area near her home. She had been reading “Lanie” a book about a girl who takes a grand “adventure” in her backyard.

Luckily for Nadia and her family, she too was on a grand adventure.

Nadia Bloom was discovered early Tuesday morning as searchers were beginning their fifth day of looking for her. She was in good shape despite being covered in mosquito bites.

Finally, a happy ending to what could have been a terrible situation. Welcome home, Nadia.
