Keli McGregor Found Dead

Keli McGregor found dead this morning

Colorado Rockies president Keli McGregor was found dead this morning in his hotel room in Salt Lake City, Utah.

He was only 48.

Apparently friends of McGregor’s had been trying to reach him and became concerned when he wasn’t returning calls. Out of fear for his safety, someone went to the hotel room to check on him. After he did not respond they had the hotel staff open the room. It was then that MCGregor’s body was discovered.

This happened at approximately 9am MT. Emergency medics were called in but they were unable to revive him.

McGregor had been the Rockies president since October 2001 and was with the organization for 15-years. He was also a tight end in the NFL, playing for the Colts and Broncos.
