60 Minutes interviewed Conan O’Brien about his situation regarding Jay Leno and the Tonight Show.

Conan, humor still intact, gave his side of the story. At times he was serious, other times he made light of losing the job he loved.

60 Minutes also talked with Conan’s wife and she gave us her perspective of the situation.

In a nutshell, Conan said he would never have done what Jay Leno did to him. In other words, he wouldn’t have publicly handed off the show to someone only to come back a year later. Conan says that neither Jay Leno nor Jeff Zucker, CEO at NBC, have contacted him since his departure.

Conan is such a likeable guy and in this interview it’s not any different. I think he has handled this whole mess quite well. And with more than $30 million in his pocket for his troubles, it can’t really be that painful. Heh.

Definitely a must see interview!
